Hiking Brittany

This 6.5 km hiking trail runs along the coastline between the Guesclin beach and the Pointe du Grouin. Walk around the Pointe du Nid with your best walking shoes and a water bottle. Walk on the cove of the Orchard: you will only have to cross a point and a beach to reach the Pointe du Grouin. You will then discover a magnificent panorama on the bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel and on the Landes island, home of colonies of gulls and cormorants.

According to the Tarz Héol association, which brings together the hikers of the commune, 60 km of trails are accessible around Ploemeur. The area already allows you to enjoy beautiful walks such as the G circuit to practice with the children or the green way to Guidel. For amateurs, there is the Kaolins loop (about 8 km), but also the sand circuit (13 km), the Saint-Maudé circuit (3.7 km) or, quite simply, the tour of the Etang du Ter (2.5 km)... Feel free to contact the Tourist Office, which will issue you a map of the region's hiking trails.

Choose to discover a unique natural heritage: the island of Groix. Thanks to a road map ordered on the site of Randoland, you will investigate the history of this site in the singular landscapes. The La Trinité-sur-Mer Peninsula is a renowned seaside resort. And because of this, it presents a whole range of sandy beaches to turquoise waters. The Customs Trail, which runs along the Atlantic facade of France over 2,000 km, makes a step. Before embarking on such an adventure, just take the 6 kilometer loop that takes this trail from the port beach. From there, you will take the direction of the south to walk along the beaches of Men Allen, then Kerbihan and Grazy, before reaching the point where customs officers were staying. You will then climb along the west coast of the peninsula, passing through the beaches of Ty Guard and Kervillen and then by the salt marshes. The last part takes place in the small districts of the Trinity, until reaching the port.

Blue, blue and blue: This is what this little 5 kilometer stroll around the peninsula of Granvres offers. On the one hand, the tumultuous waters of the Atlantic Ocean, on the other the quiet waves of the small sea of Granvres, and under your feet, sand! From the pier for Port-Louis, you will take the coastal trail towards the Goërem Anse. From there you will follow the sea to Porh Guerh by bypassing the southern tip of the peninsula. You will see the fort and the blockhouses on your way. You will leave the sea for a short moment only, the time to join the captains and the pier.

The reputation of Carnac's menhirs is no longer to be done: travelers from around the world come to admire the 3,000 megalithic rocks on the commune dating back to five centuries for some. If you are not trying to wear them on your back, you can approach them through the tumulus hiking circuit. This 7 km loop starts a few steps from the Kerluir site where the tumulus Saint-Michel is located. You will then revert to the Kermario and Menec alignments that extend over 4 km. A mystical walk that often leaves without voice.

A nice idea for a walk along the largest river in western Brittany, the Blavet. With a length of 58 kilometers, the towpath that links Hennebont to Pontivy promises a pleasant excursion. To get there, you have to go to the bottom of the ramparts, on the right. The path is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. A fitness trail has also been set up, from the Poterie car park to the Bergerie car park. Children will also find a nice playground. A good breath of fresh air in perspective.

The Maison de la Baie introduces the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, its ecosystem as well as the mussel culture on bouchot via its mytili-mobile (tractor with trailer) and a permanent exhibition. For that, it organizes discovery walks, made on reservation (from 4 to 6 hours). Professional guides are in charge of commenting and securing the outing. Equip yourself with appropriate clothing and find out about the different hikes: you can choose an outing adapted to your interests and your walking skills (8 to 25 km).

Beautiful hiking to access the rocky site (15 minutes round-trip). There are superb views of the Cabellou and Beg-Meil Bay.

In July and August, upon reservation, go for a hike accompanied by geologists - approximately 3 h 30 - to discover the sites of the peninsula, hours according to tides; on Monday and Wednesday, 6/14 years will be well inspired to participate in Professor Kaolin's workshops! Sand, fossils… search, discover, understand, with Professor Kaolin, living and exciting geology - 2 workshops at 1 h 30. Without reservation, all year round, the Museum's Sound rides, hiking in the goat's Cap, lead you to discover the fauna, flora, habitat… Hire a MP 3 and a helmet to be guided. A very exciting "house"!

On the theme of water, they leave from the historic center of Daoulas, at the beginning of the moulin du pont. Coastal trail Rosmelec, trail of Nice, trail peak of Keranglien, there is no longer follow the "water Writings".

Domaine de Menez € is a 680 hectare park nestled in the heart of the Régional Regional natural Park. It houses and protects several types of habitats and animals specific to Brittany, which could have disappeared without the work of the Domain owners. It is covered from thematic trails from 2,5 km to 8,5 km, such as an animal route (3,3 km) and an interpretive pathway of the Landes (2,5 km) or a forest trail (2,5 km). Many animations are also being put in place during the summer and for Heritage Day, including a track game for discovering the secrets of the Domain.

The Forêt forest would have sheltered King Arthur, Merlin and the Fairy. Many hiking trails go through its 9 000 hectares in search of evidence of this mystical past. This is the case of the Fées Country Trail, starting from the hamlet of Folle-Thought. You will see on the road the 10-year-old Chêne oak, measuring nearly metres of circumference; Le Rocher du Pas de la Goat, place of worship for the druids; and the fountain of Barenton, where Merlin and Viviane met. Beware, the circuit is closed during hunting.

Looking for fresh air in the heart of natural and preserved landscapes? So don't miss this hiking program offered by the Federation of Hiking of the Morbihan on Sunday 1 st October in Pontivy. 4 walks will be possible, one of which is 10 km, the smallest and most accessible. What a wonderful opportunity to get recharge! Supplies are provided, however, providing for water and walking shoes.

For a little culture, you will also be offered a cultural course short in the afternoon.

A number of routes (mountain biking, Nordic walking, hiking…) whose trail from Lannion will allow you to relax but also to do a good job for a clinic in Niger. The departure of the trail will take place at Trorozec in the direction of Quinquis and then Du castle before a return to Lannion along the banks of the Léguer valley.

Baud is at the centre of 11 tours of hiking and initially 2 of the most famous of them: the village circuit and the Circuit Heath Circuit. It is also a step on the road to mountain bike hikes as well as the Trans Breizh, which runs step 6.
