When to go Jamaica ?

Jamaica has a tropical climate: an exceptional amount of sunshine with pleasant temperatures all year round. There are two main seasons: the dry season, from November to April, and the rainy season, from May to October. The first is the high season favored by tourists. The only time to avoid is the cyclone season between August and October. Cultural events, notably music festivals, are organized all year round.

Tropical and moderated by the Caribbean Sea. It is still hot in Jamaica (between 25 and 30°C). The wet season lasts from June to September, with more intense heat and occasional but violent showers, especially in the parish of Portland. High altitude areas - such as the Parish of Manchester or the Blue Mountains - offer the advantage of being cool, especially in the evening, away from the heat of Kingston.
