Bars and clubs are open very late at night, as well as open-air sound systems. Jamaica is a festive country! Negril on the other hand is a tourist area where some neon lights of discotheques stay on late but most of the concerts end early.

Night transport

It is highly recommended to use a serious cab company at night to get around Jamaica, especially in Kingston. Hotels will usually order a cab for you easily.

Age restrictions

The consumption of alcohol in discotheques and concert bars is permitted from the age of 18.

What's very local

The sound systems bloom a little everywhere in the villages, the districts, it is enough to lower its window to locate them! In general the speackers are fixed on the roof of a car, or posed on the ground.

Smokers

Smoking is allowed everywhere in Jamaica in bars and clubs.
