Always in search of the best ideas for walks from the corner of the street to the end of the world, heading for the Bahamas and precisely the small island of Cat Island, at the top of the archipelago... We have tested for you, in sneakers and tap shoes, the ascent of Mount Alvernia. At the top is a beautiful picture, alternating between the blue of its lagoons and a green environment, as well as a small monastery built between 1944 and 1946 by Father Jerome, an Anglican religious convert to Catholicism who also built other religious buildings throughout the archipelago. Accessible to all, the climb only lasts a few minutes and for good reason: 63 meters of altitude (only?)!
