The best address for gourmets. Impossible to resist the various cakes, pies, croissants and others. We also make a very good jam sold in jars for an original souvenir or a gourmet gift. You will find delicious salads and sandwiches of local products or homemade lemonades. Between two visits and when it is cold, the place is nice for a hot chocolate, tea or mulled wine break. Don't hesitate to go there for breakfast. The address is a pastry shop, bakery and bistro.

PALLADIUM

Department store
4.3/5
4 reviews

Prague's newest shopping mall opened its doors opposite the Municipal House on Republic Square. It's not the biggest in town (it doesn't have its own multiplex!), but it does boast a large number of fashion boutiques and a very large bookshop, well-stocked with books on Prague and the Czech Republic in several languages. The entire top floor is taken up by fast-food restaurants. The Albert supermarket is a good opportunity in the city center for those who do their own cooking.

CAFÉ MILLÈME

Patisserie €€
4/5
1 review

A paradise for gourmets and sweet tooth lovers! Café Millème is one of the best pastry establishments in the Czech capital, among the very good French reference establishments (ah, these macaroons...) but at prices far from the French standards. You can also come and sit down for a quick lunch with sandwiches and salads made with seasonal products and made to the minute, a farandole of fresh fruit juice and a few daily specials depending on the market. Good, beautiful and healthy!

PETITE FRANCE

Bakery

Nove mesto is the night owl district, and the most hard-working of them will probably be happy to find a French-style bakery open in the early morning! Impossible to miss, the smell of pastries floats in the street like in a real Paris district! The showcase of Petite France is full of croissants, chocolate breads, raisin breads and brioches. You can enjoy them on the spot over a good cup of coffee, and also try the very beautiful pastries, a little creamy but very honourable.

DOBRÁ ČAJOVNA

Bread cakes chocolates ice cream

In the first room, ordinary, two small tables are always taken, because people come from outside to buy tea from all over the world and accessories to prepare it well. The second room is dark, filled with incense and oriental music. In the background, a coffee table and cushions await you, and the choice is great: white, green, young and black, natural or fruit tea, from Japan, India, Sri Lanka... The names, such as The Secret of Three Treasures, The Memories of Jerusalem or Perfume of Kashmir, are already a temptation.

OUKY DOUKY

Patisserie

Half American-style bar, half Czech antique shop, this coffee is resolutely international. We drink our espresso by leafing through old books. You can also browse through fashion magazines, read the billboard in English for apartment and course offers or even eat (very good soups and sandwiches). In short, the coffee-bookstore of the Czechs and expats of the district. Its success has led it to expand with a cosy little room and, for sunny days, a pleasant terrace on the pavement. Perfect for landing, reading, getting to know each other...
