Sandholt Bakery is one of Iceland's most famous bakeries, and perhaps one of the few places where you'll literally have to queue to be served! On site, you can choose from a variety of breads, pastries and sandwiches prepared in-house. Although somewhat expensive, the sandwiches are delicious and made with a variety of ingredients: ricotta, grilled tomatoes, pine nuts, mushrooms, ham, cheese, salmon... If you want to eat there, it's best to book a table online.

Maybe the name doesn't ring a bell, but Mokka Kaffi is an exceptional place. As its name suggests, the place is dedicated to coffee. And we are proud to present you the oldest café in town (1958). Always crowded and pleasant, the place is ideal for a breakfast with delicious home-made waffles. Inexpensive snacks to accompany the drinks. Regularly, you can also admire the work of local artists with temporary exhibitions. A real café-gallery to discover during your visit!

The Segull brewery is a family-run craft brewery that's well worth a visit! Located in a restored former fish factory, it is run by a passionate family who will be delighted to show you around the brewery, with a tasting session at the end, of course. Recommended by locals, this is a must-visit place with an atypical atmosphere, a charming welcome and, of course, you can leave with a few souvenirs by buying one or more beers in their store.

Of course, Iceland is full of bakeries with delicious pastries, and it's impossible not to mention them all! Nevertheless, this bakery-teahouse is such a hit with locals and tourists alike that it's impossible not to mention it. Bread, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, pastries: sit back and enjoy a gourmet break, or take something to eat with you on the road. Recognizable by its colorful and original frontage, this bakery stands out not only for the quality of its ingredients, but also for its buns and cinnamon rolls prepared on site AND vegan. Blueberry/sugar balm, caramel/muesli or vanilla: there's something for everyone in the shop window! Good to know: the flours used are organic, and the butter and salt are Icelandic.

Right in the middle of the countryside off Route 60, this farm welcomes you with delicious homemade ice creams in original flavors (rhubarb, dandelion...), as well as numerous farm products (cheeses, homemade Skyr...).
