Iceland or Island in Icelandic means the Land of ice. Naturally, the island has many glaciers. Most of the glaciers have the particularity to be located at the top of volcanoes. For example, the Vatnajökull which is the most famous glacier and measuring the size of Corsica covers many dormant volcanoes. Glaciers are also at the origin of other landscapes like the glacial lagoon of Jokulsarlon (see photo). These glaciers are often privileged places of shooting of films.
