Fireworks are a Maltese passion, and it's only natural that they should have their own festival, which takes place from the end of April to the beginning of May. You can admire them at Valletta's Grand Harbour, as well as in Floriana, Mdina and Gharb (Gozo). Prizes are awarded at the end of the festival. The full program is available on the dedicated website. If you miss it, don't worry: from June to September, there will be at least one fireworks display every day.
