Close to the Grandharbour Hotel, this Italian restaurant is open only at noon with a clientele of businessmen and office staff who give it a nice club atmosphere. And the result is there with an incomparable view of the villages of Mtarfa and Mdina, all in a very romantic art nouveau atmosphere. In the plate, no disappointment to be expected: seafood platter, lobster ravioli, rabbit liver, fried squid, duck breast, all accompanied by vegetables cooked to perfection and in season. If you've decided to spend the day in Comino, and of course take the opportunity to admire the blue lagoon and take a dip, at some point you're bound to get thirsty. The Palazzo is a rather chic place where local Italian-inspired, contemporary and refined cuisine is served. We're going to this restaurant first for its location. Situated a little high up in the bay of Xlendi, it benefits from a lovely roof terrace which allows you to have a privileged view, especially at sunset. To note, a park dedicated to children is attached to the restaurant and will allow them to play.

This old pastry shop has been tastefully transformed into an elegant restaurant and enjoys an excellent reputation among the inhabitants and employees of the capital. The cuisine is remarkable and the Maltese and Italian menu is frequently renewed. The local products (pickled vegetables, bigilla, goat cheese, rabbit, Maltese sausages) are well highlighted. The changing menu offers on some days a more pronounced detour to Sicily or even North Africa. It is, of course, quite expensive, but it is justified.

A restaurant with an elegant, jazzy atmosphere in a decor colored by the works of art hanging on the wall and the blown glass available for sale here and there. The Mediterranean and Italian specialties and fish are really well prepared, and the portions generous. What's more, you'll enjoy watching the cooks busy themselves with the order you've just placed. A word of advice: try the seafood platter to whet your appetite. A good address where the chefs have a know-how that is rare on the island.

How do you explain the taste of strawberries to someone who's never tasted them? We have the same problem with this restaurant. Doms Brasserie is indeed an exceptional restaurant. You'll appreciate the incredibly subtle and surprising flavors of the dishes on offer. Try the eggplant confit, for example. But the setting also contributes to the enjoyment of the meal, and the pleasure of the taste buds goes hand in hand with the pleasure of the eyes as you admire the high ceiling, exposed beams and thick stone walls. And, incredibly, the value for money is excellent.

A regular award-winner, this restaurant has now joined St Julian's, part of the Corinthia hotel group. It continues to specialize in seafood and fish, with options including red tuna, prawns and smoked octopus, as well as sharing platters of oysters and sturgeon caviar. Meat lovers are not forgotten, thanks to chicken with gorgonzola and grilled chops with herbs and mushrooms. Enjoy the sea view, with a sunroof in summer.

A minimalist decor that skirts the surrounding aesthetic rather than the omnipresence of fast foods but it will not be the only pleasure. Even finesse on the kitchen side, contemporary, varied and carefully presented. On the menu, seafood, fresh fish, carpaccios and meat or lovely grilled shrimp salad, accompanied by fish.
