THÉÂTRE PRINCESSE GRACE

Built on the site of an old cinema and theater complex dating from 1932, this theater inaugurated in 1981 had its glory days with Édith Piaf and Sacha Guitry. Renovated in an Art Deco style, the Princess Grace Theatre hosts the biggest names and also gives a chance to new stars, which is why it is now a recognized and valued stage. Plays, one-man shows, magic and comedy shows... Its heterogeneous programming attracts audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

THÉÂTRE DES VARIÉTÉS

Opened in 1993, this intimate establishment offers a rich and diversified cultural program: archive screenings, conferences, concerts and other good quality shows are regularly produced there. The Théâtre des Variétés is often mobilized for the Principality's major cultural events. With 350 seats, it works in close collaboration with the Printemps des Arts Festival, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prince Rainier III Academy of Music.

The Salle Garnier of the Monte-Carlo Opera has been restored to the splendor of the time when the divine Frenchwoman Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923) inaugurated it. Let's mention some of the legendary performers who made this opera vibrant: the sopranos Adelina Patti and Nellie Melba or the tenor of the century Enrico Caruso. THÉÂTRE DU FORT ANTOINE

Built between 1709 and 1713, the Fort Antoine Theater was transformed into an open-air theater in 1954, at the request of Prince Rainier III. Facing the sea, below the Rock, it has a capacity of 350 seats. It is in service in July and August only, with a beautiful program of street shows and plays accessible to the whole family. For the pleasure of your wallet, all performances are free! Reservations are required, however, as seating is limited.
