The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is one of the largest museums dedicated to science related to the sea. Through its aquariums, its museum space, its exhibitions and its collections, it allows to contemplate various marine species and to understand their evolution through the ages, as well as the interest in preserving an environment that remains sensitive and so essential. Since the health crisis linked to COVID-19, the museum decided on March 14 to close its doors to the public until further notice. But in this period of confinement, the team has also decided to stay in touch with its visitors by allowing them to join them every day on the website and on social networks to share anecdotes, underwater discoveries and oceanographic stories. Every Wednesday morning at 10 am, an appointment is proposed on Facebook and Instagram to ask questions to marine specialists. At the same time, it should be noted that a small team remains active to ensure the smooth running of the aquariums and the place in Monaco, in order to be able to meet the public in the best possible conditions at the end of the health crisis.
