Of course, we only point out this restaurant for those who would like to change a little bit by eating on the go. It is also a good address for those who would like to enjoy the beautiful view on the beach from the terrace. As for the pizzas offered, you will recognize the unavoidable ones of the genre (queen, margherita) or you will choose a more original one like the pizza with less than 600 calories. Notice to the amateurs.

This pub is located on the bay of Ouaisné, adjacent to the bay of Saint-Brelade and is therefore accessible by a short walk outside the village. It is housed in a 17th century building and offers a very cosy atmosphere. In winter, by the fire, you can enjoy a typical English pub cuisine: grilled fish, meat, fried brie, curry, pudding, hot apple pies... The reputation of its beers is well established, judging by the number of stickers that flood its facade and by the large number of regular customers.

Here, you can choose between the chic upstairs restaurant, which replicates the interior design of a boat, or the large pub on the first floor, with its modern decor, terrace and beautiful view of the port. Special mention for the friendly welcome, the charming patio at the back and the fish and seafood. We loved the Scottish salmon fishcake with cider-braised leeks. This is a great address, but it's a good idea to make a reservation, as it gets very busy in summer.

An address much appreciated by islanders for the freshness of its produce and its location near the Gouffre, not far from the cliff. Victor Hugo is said to have dined here in 1870. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome and seated at a good wooden table, brightened up in season by a bouquet of flowers. The decor is both rustic and modern. Before or after your meal, you can play pétanque in the garden. Also ideal for dinner or cream tea.

The Kiln is one of those pleasant brasseries serving hearty, well-prepared dishes at lunchtime all year round. The traditional fish and chips, of course, but also burgers, hot sandwiches, good meat or fish pies... And why not finish with a local ice cream! The little extra for families: a pleasant children's play area for a sunny lunch or a quick break.

In the heart of the sumptuous Old Government House hotel, La Brasserie is a chic restaurant that is not out of place in the hotel's other facilities. Here, the atmosphere is relaxed and chic in a light-filled veranda with a lovely view of the peaceful private garden. All this in front of a wonderful French cuisine, always beautifully presented and very refined. We recommend, for the gourmets and the others, the desserts which are absolutely delicious.

Before the arrival of the banks and their services, all stores in Saint-Peter-Port must have looked like this: a takeaway area (a good option for enjoying a treat while strolling along the harbour on a sunny day), a seated area, with wood, teak and, of course, a rather cheap British atmosphere. Yet this is - by far - the best & chips in town. No more, no less. And if you've had enough of the eternal fish & French fries, other no less light options are available: burgers, nuggets, etc.

The welcome is warm and the atmosphere very friendly and relaxed for this "gastronomic pub" which takes place in the magnificent setting of the hotel Les Douvres. An address that is really worth the trip and where you will find local products, international cuisine, but above all copious plates and excellent flambé specialties. The establishment is also famous for its deliciously rustic pizza menu, with excellent homemade dough and seasonal products. Concerts at the hotel bar on Friday nights (7:30 pm).

Don't be afraid of the "wicked wolf"! The Wicked Wolf is a great pub, warm, family and friendly, where you can eat well and where the plates are copious. And not too expensive! On your plate, you will find a classic and well prepared pub cuisine. On the menu, hot pies (meat or fish), grilled or stewed meats always well accompanied with local products. And, as soon as the sun comes out, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace of the establishment.

A few meters from the beach, this pub, which changed name and owner in 2021, offers seafood specialties (mussels and French fries, shrimp) and more classic pub fare (shrimp tempura, breaded cutlets, etc.). Some meat proposals are proposed to carnivores and vegetarian options are also on the menu. To sum up, here there is really something for everyone. As its name indicates, it is located in La Pulente and offers very nice views on the bay of Saint-Ouen. An address to test!

With two large terraces (one overlooking the sea and the other overlooking the street) and an additional one at the back on the parking lot, this nicely decorated pub offers a wide variety of beers(of course!) and seasonal dishes. It's also a great place for locally produced oysters and a great place to enjoy the sunset in the evening or a well-deserved tea time after a swim in the sea in the afternoon. On Sundays, it's simply crowded because the brunch is famous.

For a change from the traditional fish and chips, here's a nice address that has taken the place of the famous French address Le Petit Bistrot. In a colorful, cozy atmosphere, you sit around a rickshaw and enjoy street food with a spicy Bangladeshi twist! The dishes are simple but always good - the curries are to die for! -And above all, a unique offering on the archipelago: the perfect address for a quick, quality meal. To be washed down with a homemade gin and tonic, before or after your meal!

The Lobster and Grill is the Friquet Hotel's top restaurant. The English and especially Guernsey cuisine served here is tasty and hearty. And while the menu features garden vegetables, the main attraction is the fine cuts of beef and, above all, seafood and lobster, presented in all their forms and brought to life by the talented chef Gabriel Pestana and his entire brigade. A fine wine list too. This address, much appreciated by islanders, will delight the most demanding palates.

At Le Havre des Pas, here are a few tables overlooking the beach to enjoy (very) good breakfasts and delicious brunches and bowls. Whether it's early morning or lunchtime, it's a great place to grab a bite to eat and sip a smoothie in peace and quiet, and it's environmentally friendly too. Under Kate's guidance, we're always served fresh, seasonal produce and revisited local dishes. To make matters worse, the atmosphere is family-friendly and smiles are the order of the day... We love it!

At Rosie's, you'll be delighted to sit down right next to the market and enjoy a menu of excellent breakfasts ( British-style, of course), great soups, tasty toasts and sandwiches, and a few more elaborate dishes. Nothing too fancy, but always well-crafted. On the other side, you can choose between a few tables inside or a lovely terrace facing the market. Of course, as the name suggests, a fine range of teas awaits you at Rosie. A tasty, timeless address.

L'Awabi is one of the best addresses, if not the best, for Japanese food on the island of Jersey. This small, cosy room sends you to the Land of the Rising Sun, with its minimalist decor and a menu of (very) well thought-out Japanese specialities, devised by the self-taught and very talented chef Stephen. With the addition of Asian beers and a selection of fine wines on the menu, there's something to delight even the most discerning palate in the heart of Saint-Hélier. Calling all connoisseurs!

The Rockmount is a modern pub with a gastronomic flair that is very popular in Guernsey. Overlooking Cobo Beach, it's a great place to dine during or after a lazy day on the beach. The menu features simple yet effective dishes such as moules marinières, lamb chops, sea bass fillets, gnocchi with Guernsey cheddar or breaded chicken with parmesan. Pizzas and burgers are also on the menu.

L'Octopus is a very popular restaurant in Guernsey's capital, and not just for its exceptional location facing the sea and Havelet Bay beach. Here, you can enjoy seafood all day long, of course, but also fine cuts of meat and elaborate snacks for a quick bite. This address is a sure bet, offering fantastic views of the islands of Herm, Jethou and Sark. Try it with a cocktail too!

This warm and lovely tea room is housed in an old 17th century farmhouse that is part of a large garden complex. The establishment offers excellent breakfasts, brunches and a very nice lunch menu with local products and international influences all day long. For dessert, and especially at tea time, you can enjoy very good homemade pastries. It is wise to make reservations, as the restaurant is often fully booked, especially in high season.

Opened by renowned Jersey Island restaurateurs (formerly of the Atlantic Hotel), Mark Jordan at the Beach welcomes you to a charming setting with a refined decor and light tones. A prime spot to enjoy a generous, refined menu. With an unobstructed view over Saint-Aubin Bay, you can feast on fresh local produce - with a special mention for seafood - and fusion cuisine inspired by Mediterranean and even Thai cuisine. Finally, the value for money is very good.

The Fountains Tavern is a pub located in an old 15th century farmhouse that has been tastefully renovated while keeping many of its original elements. It is an excellent place to have a drink or to eat because it offers a good hearty cuisine, although usual in local pubs: grilled meats, stuffed mushrooms, Cajun salmon, creamed chicken... We will note the beautiful view of the cliffs from the outdoor patio and especially the children's playground always convenient for families.

While you can get fish or a plate of linguine, the only reason to come to Wild Fire is for its impressive menu of steaks, from Angus to Chateaubriand, to large rib eye steaks and superb ribeyes. Always cooked to perfection! If the bill can quickly rise, carnivores will be delighted in this beautiful room decorated with pleasant benches, beautiful light fixtures and metal design trophies hanging on the walls. And the advice of the staff, always smiling, is very wise.

The Jersey Crab Shack is above all a superb setting overlooking the large beach, where the terrace on sunny days is a real delight. The sea spray so close to us obviously pushes us to choose the seafood linguine, but the rather sought-after hamburgers are also very tempting. Large plates to share (including one with seafood of course) are also a great option for meals with family or friends. A place not to be missed in Saint-Brelade, for its environment of choice.

The Muddy Duck is a quality restaurant in Saint-Aubin. The proof? The establishment was opened by chef Chris Payton, who worked in the kitchen of the Old Court House next door for almost two decades. In a pleasant setting, set back from the small road and with a beautiful terrace, one can enjoy well prepared and revisited local products, especially fish and shellfish. With a children's menu defying all competition, this is a quality family address. The welcome is also very pleasant.

This luxurious brasserie, with its sleek, stylish look, welcomes the upper crust of Saint-Hélier society to a private mansion in the heart of the capital. You'll come for the bar and its top-flight cocktails, or for the restaurant's well-crafted menu and consistently delicious cuisine, such as the fine sole or truffle risotto. A charming setting and the promise of a delicious moment for two. Le Banjo also offers four luxury rooms. Ask at reception.

Le Soy is one of the best places to eat Japanese food in the Channel Islands. The chef takes the great classics of Japanese menus and adds a few well-considered inspirations, between fusion cuisine, good seafood ideas and poke bowls. To make matters worse, the setting is really very pleasant, the decor is always tasteful and there's a large (heated) terrace for those nice days when it doesn't rain.

Da Nello is a nice Italian restaurant where French is spoken and where the welcome is charming. The Italian classics (sometimes adapted or revisited) are nicely highlighted, such as the veal escalope with asparagus and cherry tomatoes or the fettuccine with Guernsey crabs (with olive oil, garlic, chili and parsley). Also on the menu are numerous seafood and grilled fish dishes and fine cuts of meat. For dessert, if it's on the menu, why not try the Campari gelato.

With its terrace sheltered from the wind, the Ship Inn has more character than other establishments on the island, and the food is quite good. Apart from the services, a cream tea is served all day long, as well as ice creams in the afternoon. Note also that it is possible to travel from Guernsey and back just for dinner, which many people from the neighboring island do. A good indication of the quality of the cuisine. Also note that a special Sunday lunch menu is offered every Sunday. A good typical UK address.

The Moorings Hotel's table is an excellent option for dining in the port's friendly atmosphere, whether on the small terrace in summer or in the warm and stylish fireside reception room in winter. On the menu, well-prepared seafood, local meats, Scandinavian or Mediterranean-influenced dishes and even a few vegan options. The menu changes with the seasons, and local produce is of course given pride of place. All in all, an address just the way we like it.

This new Saint-Aubin address (opening in 2022) offers excellent typical Italian cuisine and natural wines. Managed by Jersiaise Kate and chef Marcello, who hails from Modena on the Italian boot, this restaurant showcases fresh, organic produce and local fishing, favoring short circuits and an ethical approach to the trade when designing its menu. In short, an excellent address where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a warm atmosphere, thanks in particular to a decor where wood reigns supreme. We love it!

Indigo's Grill is Hotel Christina's top restaurant and a great option at dinnertime. This modern, chic restaurant is decorated in blue tones and clad in wood. The cuisine is good and varied, featuring local produce: excellent grills from local butchers, fish of the day with lobster sauce, fish and chips, lobster fritters, Jersey yoghurt, crème brûlée, cheesecake... And to make the most of these well-crafted dishes, you can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Saint-Aubin Bay through the bay window. A unique experience!

As on the other side of the Channel, the Indian gastronomy is very appreciated on the island of Guernsey. And this restaurant has been successful since it opened in 1989. In addition to the always smiling welcome, you will find on the menu all the great classics well known by the amateurs. Be careful though, because even if you limit the quantity of spices with the middle spicy dishes, they can turn out to be rather spicy. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially in the evening. It is also possible to buy your meal to go.

The establishment offers a family pub (The Last Post) and a restaurant (Mint Brasserie). There are also two large terraces, one of which is covered and has a large playground for children. Located right next to the German underground hospital, it can be a nice stopover. In any case, it is the meeting place for the families of the village who flock there on Sundays to enjoy the atmosphere and to follow the sports results.

Pier 17, Seamus Duggan's restaurant, is one of the capital's best addresses. Located on the docks, close to the boats, this restaurant is almost naturally oriented towards fish and seafood specialties, but the menu also offers many meat dishes, always very well prepared. Fresh, seasonal vegetables complete the menu. Inside, the decor is very clean, even rather chic. Outside, two beautiful terraces allow you to enjoy the beautiful days.

Koi Koi is Guernsey's best address for Asian fusion cuisine. This recently opened dim sum & sushi bar offers a fine culinary experience in a unique setting, with a rooftop decked out in pink. In addition to a Japanese menu based on fresh produce, you can also enjoy original burgers, curries, fish or a fine piece of beef. And for those who'd rather settle for an excellent cocktail (with or without alcohol), the restaurant's bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday (5.30pm to 12.45am).

This excellent restaurant with a very good reputation offers spectacular views behind the large bay windows of a room literally perched above the bay. A dream setting for a romantic and gastronomic moment, since the menu is of high quality and knows how to renew itself with the seasons. The hotel restaurant, Rosie Jacques Bistro, welcomes guests right on the waterfront. In addition to its beautiful view, the restaurant offers Mediterranean-influenced cuisine at excellent value for money. Portions are hearty and pizzas can be served all day long. There's a pleasant atmosphere on the terrace as soon as the weather warms up. It's also a good place for an aperitif.

This is a great place to get your feet under the table after a long, lazy day at the beach. Here, you can eat with a view of the sea, practically on the sand, and choose between pizzas, pasta dishes, burgers, grilled or breaded chicken, fish and chips, grilled prawns or shrimps, and so on. The establishment, which also boasts a surf school open to all and a clothing store, is the meeting place for local surfers.

The Lookout Beach is a great option for beach dining outside Saint-Hélier, from breakfast to dinner, late afternoon tea or brunch. Located on the road leading to Saint-Lawrence, the menu is simple and effective, featuring seafood, hearty salads and a fine selection of burgers. Also on the menu are a number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

The Bond Street Social took over from Number 10 in 2023, but remains one of Saint-Hélier's trendiest addresses. Here, you'll enjoy an inventive menu that changes with the seasons and new arrivals. But there's one constant: fresh and, for the most part, local produce; and the menu is always well thought-out and copious. For an aperitif or digestif, the in-house bar is just the place. In short, this is an address to remember for a successful evening in the capital.

The Rozel Pub & Dining is a modern eatery belonging to the luxurious Château La Chaire. Standing tall, the establishment revisits the great pub classics to create delicious dishes that are always well presented, from goat's cheese salad with sweet potatoes and walnuts to Cajun chicken burger and fish pie with cheddar and broccoli. Whether on the covered terrace or by the fireplace in winter, this is a great place to sit down to dinner in the small village of Saint-Martin.
