Excellent service and cuisine for this gastronomic restaurant which proposes more particularly sea products obviously, with in particular a beautiful proposal of lobsters. Local and seasonal products are also honored. A high quality menu perfectly executed by talented chef Lukasz Pietrasz. The wine list also offers very nice labels. In addition, the welcome is up to the place and we always spend a good time at the table of the beautiful hotel Greenhills.

In the prestigious Atlantic Hotel, the Ocean Restaurant, the restaurant's table, has a decoration that matches the standing of the hotel's rooms: the light tones, the tableware and the works of art, give the place an extra soul. On the plate, the services are also up to the mark with a refined cuisine, thanks to a modern and innovative menu that is always based on excellent fresh and local products. We hurry there at nightfall to enjoy and dine in good company.

The restaurant of the Hotel de la Sablonnerie is a well known address on the island that mixes a very classical charm with a little touch of sophistication. On the menu, we make the (very appreciable) effort to work with home-made and local products to offer a tasty and organic cuisine in general. During the summer months, you can enjoy the delicious garden of the property at the table in the open air. And the charming owner's welcome is always smiling. An establishment not to be missed during a stopover on the island.

On the terrace (barefoot!), by the hotel pool, for a delightful lunch (reserved for residents) with a glass of excellent white wine in one hand, accompanied by a lobster salad to nibble on the other; or in the evening (open to all), in a more formal dining room for a 3-course menu (for example) of the highest quality, using fresh, seasonal produce, the Stocks Hotel's excellent table is a must-try. From spring to autumn, the menu here is one of freshness, flavor and creativity. A must for visiting epicureans!

Here, in the eponymous hotel, you can choose between a warm bar with wooden decoration and a restaurant with a more traditional charm and a deliciously chic and romantic atmosphere. The latter, which has won numerous awards, offers good, rich international cuisine, but also some traditional specialties. The local products (usually organic) are well worked to realize a nice menu with colorful and rich dishes. A nice terrace in summer too.

La Barbarie has already won several times the award for the best restaurant in Guernsey: it is therefore a safe address. The cuisine is rather inventive and the chef seems to find his inspiration in the local and Mediterranean gastronomy. The variety of the proposed dishes will allow everyone to find his happiness and the lobsters are particularly delicious. It is really well prepared, well presented, and one benefits in more from a very good service. Epicureans, here is an address not to be missed if you pass in this corner of the island.

Despite its name, there is nothing French about La Petite Baguette, except perhaps the "imitation baguettes" offered on the shelf. However, we have to admit that the sandwiches at Gino Risoli's are pretty good, hearty and, above all, available all day long, which for a city like Saint-Helier, which is rather short on hours, is quite welcome. An excellent option to eat a sandwich or a hamburger on the go or when the other restaurants have packed up their terraces. Notice to the small budgets!

Located in Saint-Hélier's main square, this fish & chips offers hearty dishes in a very lively, modern decor, on the small terrace in the shopping mall or to take away to enjoy on a sunny day. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the dishes are quite good, prepared to order and always cooked to perfection. A good address for fish and chips, of course... but not the only one, as you can also choose from a number of excellent burgers. There's also another restaurant in the village of Saint-Aubin.

The Beach Restaurant at the Coco Bay Hotel is a very good, award-winning restaurant with a magnificent view of the sea. On the menu, traditional dishes are always well done: roasted salmon on pea puree and vermouth sauce, large steak and onion confit. Especially during the summer months, shellfish and seafood from the bay are passed directly from the fishermen to the menu of Lars Kloetzer, the restaurant's German-born chef. The restaurant also offers an excellent tea room. The service is always friendly.

This very well kept restaurant, with a gastronomic pub atmosphere, serves very good local products accompanied by delicious fish and seafood. You can also be served in the adjoining garden at the back, with a more relaxed atmosphere, or enjoy the beautiful terrace. Very pleasant spots to enjoy a well-made menu. Near the bar, on a board, are written the daily dishes proposed according to the arrival of fish and fresh products. A simple address of great quality that we recommend.

In this friendly pub, people flock at mealtimes to enjoy the chef's gargantuan and tasty cuisine (we may be able to reheat something for you outside these times, but it's not certain). Fish, crabs and other seafood products feature prominently on the menu, but not only. You'll also find pasta, meat (the beef is delicious, by the way) and chicken. Everything is produced on site: another good reason (if you needed more) to choose this address.

In the middle of Victoria Street, this little sandwich and patisserie doesn't look like much. And yet it's an interesting place to order a sandwich, burger, panini or gulp down a soup of the day before setting off on a stroll to the other end of the island. Before finishing off with a crêpe, a brownie or a slice of pie. To make matters worse, the prices are affordable, the products used are fresh daily and the portions rather generous. A good place to eat on the go, especially as you can also eat in.

This is a small shop where you can grab a good fresh sandwich, to compose yourself, or to nibble on one of the few tables the good dishes of the day concocted with fresh products. Paninis, pasta dishes, soups and salads are also available on the menu. For dessert, there are a few small treats, including excellent homemade cakes. Note that the house also offers very good and hearty British breakfasts. A very good address for small and demanding budgets.

Jersey has a very large Portuguese-speaking community and, as such, it is only natural that some restaurants offer Portuguese specialties. This is the case here, in this small snack bar where chef Maria offers - to take away only - English and Portuguese specialties. In particular the Espetada, a beef speciality that comes straight from the island of Madeira. Ideal for a quick bite to eat (be careful though, the portions are gargantuan), before going for a walk in Howard Davis Park, located just 300 meters away.

Inside the fish market, the Pickled Pepper Café is a very nice place to enjoy a sandwich, a panini or a more substantial dish to choose from the proposals listed on the board next to the counter. Here, you will find everything and not only fish, so carnivores should be satisfied by the "special burger". The establishment also proposes very good and copious British breakfasts with eggs, bacon and sausages in particular. Moreover, the welcome is always smiling

In the heart of the village of Gorey, The Kitchen is a pleasant address, perfect for taking a break and why not enjoy a sandwich - prepared to order -, an excellent breakfast or a slice of home-made cake. Here, it's all about Britishness! The sandwiches and small dishes are really good. In a small and pleasant room, it is an ideal place to relax and eat on the go before or after a walk to the magnificent castle overlooking the royal bay of Grouville: Mont Orgueil Castle.

Adjacent to the Imperial Hotel to which it also serves as a pub, this nice establishment seems to be nothing less than the last one before the end of the world... And this seems to be the case on this side of the island! We stop there to quench our thirst, to eat simple and well-made dishes, like burgers, nice pieces of meat, pasta dishes or good pizzas. It is also the ideal address to watch from the small terrace the waves crashing on the beach. Everything for a perfect gourmet and exotic break!

The Lobster and Grill is the very good table of the Friquet Hotel. The English and especially the Guernsey cuisine that we find in this establishment is tasty and copious. And if the menu gives pride of place to vegetables from the garden, one goes there especially for the beautiful pieces of beef and, above all, the seafood and the lobster presented in all its forms and emphasized by the talented chef Gabriel Pestana and all his brigade. A beautiful wine list also. This address, much appreciated by the islanders, will delight the most demanding palates.

If you don't know where to go when it's time to put your feet under the table, especially during the low season, here is a golden address. Here, you will find inexpensive and copious dishes, always refined, all to be tasted in a rather classy atmosphere, without being stuffy. On the menu, the ineffable local dishes, accompanied or not according to the season by the soup of the day. In the evening, the 3-course menu is an excellent option.

Right in the heart of downtown St. Peter Port, this tiny store (fully renovated in the fall of 2021) offers coffees, ice cream, milkshakes, and a wide range of sandwiches, paninis, bagels, wraps, salads, and other takeaways for eating on the go. Of course, it's not great gastronomy, but it's fresh and it's pretty good. In short, the ideal address if you want to have a little snack before going for a walk or find something to prepare a good picnic.

In the heart of Saint Sampson, this charming little address offers great sandwiches, toasts and paninis, as well as tasty omelettes, pasta dishes, wraps, salads and a wide range of drinks to quench your thirst at any time of day. For breakfast and afternoon tea, there's also a choice of excellent pastries. Nothing unforgettable, of course, but whether eaten on the premises in the friendly little dining room or to take away, it's more than enough.

The very chic Sampshire restaurant is one of the excellent restaurants in Jersey's capital. In a chic and tasteful setting, tucked into deliciously soft blue velvet sofas, you can enjoy the talent of chef Tom Radiguet and his team. On the menu? A creative, sophisticated and local menu, which honors the products of the sea, whether for brunch or dinner. And when the sun is out, you can enjoy the restaurant's terraces. And the service is impeccable

The small café at the (very) charming Hamptonne Museum is an excellent option for a light lunch of consistently high quality, before or after your visit. Here you'll find tapas and savoury bites, homemade sandwiches, some traditional Jersey dishes, cakes and pastries, and more. You'll be able to try them all, without breaking the bank, while sitting in the museum's very pleasant park. A great opportunity for a picnic, all in the charming setting of an old-fashioned farm. A delicious moment in prospect, with family or friends.

In a 17th century building, La Bastille is a charming address in the heart of Saint-Hélier. A place where you feel good, where the staff is adorable and where you can eat quality dishes. The cuisine is finely executed with Mediterranean influences and can be accompanied by a wide choice of wines offered on the menu. And some French specialities of course are to be put under the covers, like the excellent steak chateaubriand sauce béarnaise. Not to spoil anything, the welcome is warm and the atmosphere excellent.

Fresh and cheap: these are the key words of this very small and practical establishment in the town. You can choose to sit inside (about ten seats, no more) or on the large wooden tables of the terrace overlooking the bay of Saint-Aubin to eat in the sun and have a magnificent view. On the plate, you can choose between many burgers, toasted sandwiches, ice creams made with Jersey milk, home-made cakes... We love this small unpretentious establishment

This is certainly the most popular restaurant on the beach. Indeed, it is difficult to miss it because it gives directly on this last one. The panoramic view on the bay of Saint-Brelade is exceptional, whether from the terrace or behind the large bay windows of the elegant and airy room. Obviously, the menu here honors seafood, especially oysters and lobster from Jersey, iodized flavors and local products! We really like it. Diligent and very professional service.

In the Rozel valley, here is the very famous gastronomic restaurant of the eponymous hotel, chic and delicious. The service is as good as the place, including during the very popular afternoon tea time. The cuisine is inspired by French and Mediterranean flavors to create a very good quality menu based on local products. It must be said that at Château La Chaire you will always find surprising and extremely well prepared dishes, in a bucolic and romantic setting

We love this authentic and pleasant address where you can eat hearty dishes after a day of walking. Among the main dishes, the meats are really good, the hamburgers very good and there are many sweet and sour side dishes. Even if it has recently changed its name, L'Auberge du Nord is one of the oldest establishments on the island which also has an adjoining pub. The reception is always attentive.

In the heart of this charming, long village, here's a pub with a very friendly atmosphere, housed in a typical Jersey inn, and serving good local specialties. The dishes are obviously hearty (chicken cordon-bleu, burgers, pies), sometimes a little more elaborate (seafood with curry and coconut milk), and above all change with the seasons. In winter, the wood fire is a welcome addition. A great little "country" address, just the way we like it.

Perched on the heights of the village, the Crab Shack is a large restaurant which seduces with its beautiful terrace and its dominant view on the port of Gorey, just below the castle of Mont Orgueil. It also offers a good cuisine and a very nice atmosphere. On the menu, you can choose between linguine with seafood and rather sophisticated hamburgers. Large plates to share (including one with seafood of course) are also a nice option for meals with family or friends. An excellent option.

The Watersplash is the meeting place for surfers as soon as they get out of the water, but also for walkers in love with the superb beach of Saint-Ouen who take a little break from their stroll. Here, under the shelter of the restaurant, around the pool table or on the terrace, you can drink a good beer or a cocktail, have a quick bite to eat while enjoying the colors and lights of the bay. Special evenings are announced on the Facebook page of the establishment and barbecues are organized on Sunday evenings in summer.

Here is a simple and very well kept cafeteria located just in front of the sea and the beautiful orange sand beach of Grève de Lecq. You can choose between a cute little room and a nice and large terrace. A godsend for lunch during a day at the beach and for early risers who would arrive at breakfast time. On the menu, we find the great British classics, often copious and rather fatty: fish and chips, fish and meat accompanied by small vegetables. The spot is rather nice.

The Green Island is a restaurant delightfully located on the beach. You can dine on the terrace with a view of the sea, it's beautiful! Accompanied by the sound of the waves, we enjoy a menu that honors local, fresh and seasonal products by working with Mediterranean influences, even oriental. At the time of our passage, after some oysters, we liked very much the nets of sole and mussels of Jersey and their spinaches in the butter in the chive. The establishment also has a very good wine list.

A small rustic café, warm and friendly, where you can enjoy sandwiches and especially good cakes, all home-made in the bakery of the establishment. All kinds of people come here: young office workers, high school students, moms with their children, and they all crowd around the small wooden tables. We like the large bay windows which look onto the street and the covered market not far away. The choice of sandwiches and dishes offered is written on boards and the smoothies are excellent

In this Michelin-starred restaurant, the menu marvelously mixes local products and flavors from elsewhere. The menu changes according to the seasons and new arrivals. If the adventurous are tempted by the 6-course surprise menu, the risk will remain minimal as the quality and mastery are there. In short, this address with its chic and neat setting will delight gourmets. It is quite simply one of the best restaurants in Great Britain and is constantly winning awards and distinctions. And in summer the terrace is very pleasant.

Roseville Bistro is a restaurant located at the end of a pretty little street leading to Havre des Pas and its beautiful beach. And where there's a seaside atmosphere, there's a sea-scented cuisine! The seafood platters are well thought-out, as are the classic moules marinières and oysters. But it's not just for fish lovers: there's something for every taste, including grilled meats and more sophisticated dishes. A very good address offering excellent value for money. Reservations recommended, especially at weekends.

On the port of Saint-Aubin, sheltered in a courtyard or on the terrace, you will find at the Salty Dog a world cuisine, sometimes innovative and original, which blends happily with local products. You may or may not like the decor, but what counts is what is on the plate. Here are a few successful examples to give you an idea of the cuisine offered: teriyaki sauce breaded duck salad, Indian-style spicy crab fritters, mango and coriander shrimp grilled with salsa, banana pudding and Jersey Black Butter... Charming welcome.

The Boat House is a large, elegant brasserie facing the pretty port of Saint-Aubin. On the menu: traditional fish & chips, excellent homemade burgers, but also more elaborate dishes such as salmon steak with teriyaki sauce and other fresh, local fish. And even though it recently changed ownership, being taken over by a major archipelago group, you're always very welcome at the Boat House. And, last but not least, what a pleasure it is to enjoy the terrace as soon as the warm weather arrives!

Tired of the same old pub menu? This is one of the most popular pizza chains in the UK. Of course, we only point out this restaurant for those who would like to change a little bit by eating on the go. It is also a good address for those who would like to enjoy the beautiful view on the beach from the terrace. As for the pizzas offered, you will recognize the unavoidable ones of the genre (queen, margherita) or you will choose a more original one like the pizza with less than 600 calories. Notice to the amateurs.

This pub is located on the bay of Ouaisné, adjacent to the bay of Saint-Brelade and is therefore accessible by a short walk outside the village. It is housed in a 17th century building and offers a very cosy atmosphere. In winter, by the fire, you can enjoy a typical English pub cuisine: grilled fish, meat, fried brie, curry, pudding, hot apple pies... The reputation of its beers is well established, judging by the number of stickers that flood its facade and by the large number of regular customers.

Here, you can choose between the chic upstairs restaurant, which replicates the interior design of a boat, or the large pub on the first floor, with its modern decor, terrace and beautiful view of the port. Special mention for the friendly welcome, the charming patio at the back and the fish and seafood. We loved the Scottish salmon fishcake with cider-braised leeks. This is a great address, but it's a good idea to make a reservation, as it gets very busy in summer.

A few meters from the beach, this pub, which changed name and owner in 2021, offers seafood specialties (mussels and French fries, shrimp) and more classic pub fare (shrimp tempura, breaded cutlets, etc.). Some meat proposals are proposed to carnivores and vegetarian options are also on the menu. To sum up, here there is really something for everyone. As its name indicates, it is located in La Pulente and offers very nice views on the bay of Saint-Ouen. An address to test!

In the midst of this "craft attraction", there's also a more than decent café-restaurant. Here, you'll find sandwiches and seafood as starters (fish and French fries with tartar sauce, smoked salmon and lemon cream) or main courses. But also some meat dishes, pizzas, Asian specialties and good burgers. On Sundays, the menu features the old-fashioned roast. You can also stop in for coffee, tea or breakfast, especially on the lovely terrace overlooking Fort Grey.

L'Auberge du Val is a former hotel in the heart of the countryside, which has kept its delicious restaurant open. In a beautiful setting, it offers a menu that perfectly combines English and Mediterranean specialties. Proof of the quality of its offerings, the establishment attracts locals and tourists alike. It's an ideal place to sample the produce of the islands, including the seafood from Guernsey waters and the excellent local meats for which the establishment is renowned. A good address when it's time to sit down to dinner!

An address much appreciated by islanders for the freshness of its produce and its location near the Gouffre, not far from the cliff. Victor Hugo is said to have dined here in 1870. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome and seated at a good wooden table, brightened up in season by a bouquet of flowers. The decor is both rustic and modern. Before or after your meal, you can play pétanque in the garden. Also ideal for dinner or cream tea.

Here is a small store that offers coffee, tea, very good homemade cakes and even some sandwiches (including a very good crab one), salads or good hot dishes. For a touch of freshness in season, there are delicious local ice creams that will please the whole family at any time of the day. In short, a nice address that will always be a pleasure to help you out when it's time to break bread or have a snack. And a gourmet stopover during a trip to Sark. A great find!

No doubt the name comes from the sunflower tablecloths laid out in this vast hall, where locals and tourists alike seem to gather for lunch or drinks (on the vast rooftop terrace in particular). Here, in the Island Hall and Community Centre, you can sample local produce prepared by charming island ladies who always welcome you with a smile and offer tea and cold drinks. All in all, a great place to keep the community alive and have a game of darts or pool.

The Kiln is one of those pleasant brasseries serving hearty, well-prepared dishes at lunchtime all year round. The traditional fish and chips, of course, but also burgers, hot sandwiches, good meat or fish pies... And why not finish with a local ice cream! The little extra for families: a pleasant children's play area for a sunny lunch or a quick break.

In the heart of the sumptuous Old Government House hotel, La Brasserie is a chic restaurant that is not out of place in the hotel's other facilities. Here, the atmosphere is relaxed and chic in a light-filled veranda with a lovely view of the peaceful private garden. All this in front of a wonderful French cuisine, always beautifully presented and very refined. We recommend, for the gourmets and the others, the desserts which are absolutely delicious.

Le Nautique is one of the most popular restaurants in Guernsey which, as its name suggests, offers a menu largely dedicated to seafood, with shellfish and fish caught in the waters of the archipelago. Beautiful pieces, deliciously cooked with fresh and organic products by the chef Günter Botzenhardt. And, not to spoil anything, the welcome is as good as the plate, the service impeccable and, a little more, the view on the port of Guernsey is perfect. Nice wine list. Reservation recommended.
