Accommodation is quite expensive as the number of places is limited: count between 50 and 200 € per night depending on the range. Booking and Airbnb rentals are developing in Mamoudzou and offer the advantage of being able to cook, ideal for long stays. For charming addresses with independent bungalows or swimming pool, you often have to go out of town, as everywhere. All styles are present in Mayotte, from the very comfortable and luxurious to the room in the home for the small budget. It's up to you to define your desires.

If you are staying in Mamoudzou or in the surrounding area, book well in advance as the rooms are taken by storm all year round due to the numerous business trips linked to the presence of the hospital and the administrations in the town centre. Outside Mamoudzou, you can be more flexible but there are few addresses, so it is better to have booked than to arrive with your nose to the wind. In the same way, some addresses are outside the villages, it will be then important to think of the restoration to avoid having to drive at night.

What's very local
