This festival is held in honor of the dragon of Wawel Hill, a founding legend of the city and an important symbol of the country. The event lasts a whole day, and in the evening begins a procession-competition of dragons in all their forms, ending at the Rynek. A live show also takes place at the foot of Wawel Hill, in front of the Vistula River. Finally, at nightfall, a grand pyrotechnic show recreates the dragon's arrival in town.

This festival, which usually lasts between three and four days, brings together every year big names in jazz and blues to celebrate this music with such a special history in the city. Indeed, also called "All Saints Jazz Festival". It is the oldest jazz festival in Europe. In recent years, it aims to popularize not only jazz music, but also more modern musical initiatives inspired by jazz, thus opening its lineup and its audience. The festival is often promoted by the city council and is quite crowded.

Since 1981, this festival, unexpected in a city so far from the sea, brings together groups from around the world that meet to sing on the theme of the sea and travel.

European Museum Night sees over 3,000 structures in almost thirty European countries open their doors free of charge for one night (or evening). In Poland, as in the other participating countries, this event is often an opportunity to offer special activities for visitors, in addition to permanent and temporary exhibitions. The aim is simple: to make visitors discover museums in a different way, through a unique, fun experience.

This festival is one of the oldest in Europe devoted to documentaries. A week of projections and encounters around the documentary, animation and short film. Polish and foreign directors.

An ancient pagan ritual associated with the summer solstice is held at the foot of the Wawel Hill, weaving plant crowns that are thrown into the Vistula to make a prediction. If the wreath is carried away in the current: love and happiness, otherwise it will be next year! It is in fact the occasion of a great celebration, since the day is a holiday. Cracovians stroll around, enjoy the attractions and concerts on the banks of the Vistula, elect the most beautiful crown and everything ends with fireworks. The event is organized by the city hall.

Founded by Romana Agnel in 1998, this dance troupe aims to promote and spread historical dances and court culture. They perform not only in Poland but also all over the world and since 2000 they have been presenting the Court Dances Festival - Cracovia Danza. This week-long festival of court dances offers performances and workshops. The first five days are devoted to workshops of Italian, French, Polish, English, Indian and Renaissance dance for children!
