Galeria Kazimierz is probably the most elegant shopping center in the city. This small gallery, a branch of a Wrocław-based company, exhibits, among other things, superb movie and theater posters, highlighting this artistic legacy. There are many contemporary posters, but also old posters from the Soviet era. It is an original gift for those who want to bring a Polish touch to their living room.

In the basement of the Judaica Foundation, this boutique is full of different porcelain, books, paintings and bibelots. A unique place that feels the formol but so unique that you cannot miss it.

This small, colorful and original souvenir store in the trendy Kazimierz district is filled with handmade objects that make original gifts to take home or to give as presents. Pots, cups, colanders, plates, watering cans enameled and decorated with funny animals, but also handbags and quite design jewelry, puzzles and fabric dolls can be found on the shelves arranged on the walls. Many of the items are designed for children or their parents who are still young at heart!

Once located on the floor of the Camelot café, this small concept store has since spread its wings and made a nest in one of the city's arteries, which is a good indication of its success. Lulu Living sells everything, mainly interior design. You can buy furniture, cushions, lamps, armchairs, birdcages, antique stemware, sofas, old posters, antique candleholders and thousands of original accessories. Spending some time there, you start to realize where all the trendy decorations of the city come from..

Opened in 1991 in the heart of the city, the gallery of Jan Fejkiel, a Polish art historian, has been exhibiting contemporary prints, drawings and paintings for thirty years now. This solid experience has allowed him to accumulate thousands of works by hundreds of local contemporary artists, some known, some unknown, and today it boasts the largest collection of contemporary graphic art in Poland. Of course, not everything can be seen on the spot and the gallery rents pieces everywhere.

Andrzej Mleczko is a much loved political satirist in Poland. His caustic, clever, irreverent and sometimes blasphemous and sulphurous drawings in a childish and colorful style are reproduced on paper but also on mugs, t-shirts, computer mats, shirts, panties... a whole mess that you can buy in the store. Even if you don't know the subtleties of contemporary politics very well, you will enjoy the author's staging.

Located in the former Zucher Jewish prayer house, in a beautiful neo-Gothic red-brick building from the 19th century, this is the most innovative art gallery in Krakow and is well worth a visit. There are many pieces of painted furniture, sculptures, paintings and photographs by contemporary Polish artists that would not stand out in the MOCAK exhibitions. Unfortunately, some of the more "adventurous" pieces don't really fit into the everyday life of a visitor and are not very portable either.

This small underground gallery in Kazimierz, often covered with graffiti, does not look like much, but it is the den of Leszek Macak, one of the major experts of naive art in Poland and owner of the place. You will find wooden sculptures and paintings of Polish naive art. This art form, which is often disparaged and described as a minor art form of untalented painters, has a strong appeal and is coming back into fashion to accompany modern, very clean and cold decors. The colorful paintings you will find here are not lacking in charm.

Located upstairs (you have to ring the bell to get in), this bookstore-antique shop offers books, postcards, maps, manuscripts and old prints. Walking around the premises is an adventure in itself and you feel like an explorer in an old archive. Many of the products are unique and will give a certain cachet to the interiors of those who wish to acquire them. The bookshop specializes in scientific and academic texts.

This beautiful independent bookshop exhibits mainly books published by its publisher and the publishing houses with the same leading orientation: design, photography, cinema, theatre. Unfortunately, the books are only in Polish, but the library is very beautiful and it is an opportunity to flick through some works illustrated on contemporary Polish art. The excellent section with the illustrated books for children. There is also a small café with cakes.

For lovers of amber, it is here that you will find a wide selection of beautiful jewelry. This gallery is also in the educational, with a small video showing you the different varieties of amber and its manufacturing process. Be careful though, the goal is to sell you the products and the sellers, speaking a spotless English, will not let you go, they are used to a rather aggressive practice! The advantage is that they will bend over backwards to follow your desires, advise you and explain.
