A trek in Sri Lanka

Shanti Trek offers you a 14 days trekking through Sri Lanka. You explore the surroundings of the seaside resort of Negombo, by boat in the mangrove of Muthurajawela or on the Dutch channel. You join Sigiriya for the ascent of the Pidurangala rock, incredible view on the fortress. Direction Dambulla for a hike in the pink quartz mountain and start of a three days trekking in the Knuckles area. Until now you have slept in a hotel. Here it will be camped in the jungle where you walk 35 km. Discover the sacred city of Kandy, climb Adam's Peak, hike through the tea plantations, then to the Bambarakanda waterfalls. What a fantastic atmosphere and landscape!

The Druk Path Trek in Bhutan

Namaste! After 2 days of warm up, you start your trek of the Druk Path with an intense day of walking until the small monastery of Jele, last trace of civilization. Superb view on the valley of Paro and the Jhomolari (7 316 m). Camp at 3 480 m after 4-5 hours of walking and 1 070 m of positive difference in altitude. The next day, walk towards the yak pastures and camp at 3 780 m, with the Himalayan range in the background. The most intense day's walking takes you to the glacial lake of Jimilang Tso (3,880 m). After your highest camp (4 110 m), it is the descent. You will have crossed sumptuous panoramas, yaks, monks, villagers.

Trek in the heart of the Orkhon

Shanti Trek has concocted a 14 days trek in Mongolia. After 2 days of road by car, it's your turn to walk in the steppe and the mountains! You will make 2 hours of walk the first day, then 5 hours per day, during 8 days. You will discover the Naiman Nuur park and its lakes. You sleep in a camp or with nomads. You walk in the mountains of the lower Khangadans and those of Ulziitiin Am, on the banks of Khytruunii then those of Orkhon. You discover the Khogno Khan national park and its semi-desert steppes. You will ride or walk to the Erdene Khambiin monastery before visiting the sand dunes and sleeping under a yurt.

Trek and meetings in Annapurna

The warm up of this 12 days trek starts with the visit of the sacred temples of the Kathmandu valley before reaching Pokhara, gateway to the Annapurna paths, at the foot of peaks exceeding 8,000 m. First day of trekking through the orange trees: 3 hours of walking, 650 m of ascent, night at the inhabitant's house at 1 500 m of altitude. Second day: 5 to 6 hours of walking in the valleys of Magars. You will see the villagers making paper from local plants. Meal and night at the inhabitant. Then you walk 5 to 6 hours in a forest of pine and rhododendrons to reach 3 300 m. And it is the descent while passing by the Kali Ghandaki river.

12 days immersive trek in Uzbekistan

Discovery of Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand... jewel cities. Then drive through beautiful landscapes to the remote village of Chunkaymishen where you will have dinner and spend the night with the local people. First day of walking: 6-7 hours in the Uzbek mountain pastures, then dinner and overnight stay in the small village of Oksoy. Trek to the Chetkumbel pass: 5 hours of walking, night in a tent. The next day, trek to the pass of the great Tchimgan, base camp for this summit (3 310 m) which you will climb the next day, but you have taken the rhythm of your 5 hours walk per day!
