Timetable Timetable

The few museums that exist in Tanzania are generally open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 6pm. Game drives in many lodges take place in the early morning (from 5:30am) before breakfast, and in the late afternoon until dark, the best times when wildlife is active, more mobile and therefore easier to observe.

To be booked To be booked

Safaris should be booked in advance, especially in the middle and high seasons as accommodation is scarce in the parks. They are an integral part of the visits in Tanzania. Likewise, an ascent of Kilimanjaro should be booked well in advance.

Budget & Tips Budget & Tips

Tourist traps Tourist traps

Like many tourist places, Zanzibar has a lot of beach boys trying to sell tours to tourists right on the beach. It is best to take a really experienced local guide who will book the reasonably priced tours for you.
