Designer Nicole Nichone-Johnston offers pareos, shorts, shirts, bags and T-shirts in beautiful cotton, screen-printed with exotic chic and made in Seychelles. You'll also find a number of attractive handicrafts, including crockery, soap and jewelry. Note: you can visit the brand's workshop at Anse aux Poules Bleues on Mahé's west coast (open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

A few flippers away from Michael Adams' fiefdom, slightly back from the road, you are at the home of the sympathetic stylist Nicole Nichone-Johnston, who presents her collections of pareos, shorts, shirts and T-shirts in her adorable boutique, with its pine parquet floor and takamaka shelves.
