The Khakasse New Year is traditionally celebrated at the spring equinox. It is an opportunity for Aboriginal celebrations from time immemorial. At a time when the khakasse culture is in full revival and is asserting itself harmoniously with Russian culture, it is an opportunity to highlight local gastronomy and drinks (khan talgan, airan), shamanic rites, dances and purification fires in a joyful atmosphere authentically folklore as we see only in Russia.
