This large traditional and popular market supplies a good part of the region. You can find all the products of everyday consumption, both food and non-food. A good choice if you are looking to buy typical local products as souvenirs, which you will not necessarily find in the tourist markets.

Also an interesting destination to visit if you want to observe the local life without being accompanied by other travelers.

Probably the cleanest market in Cambodia. A lot of souvenirs, due to tourism, but a lot of quality items: Sbaik Thom, leather puppets, old celadons or pottery from Phnom Kulên. There are also paintings, some of them very beautiful (the artists of Siem Reap are obviously more inspired than those of the capital), woodcarvings, sandstone sculptures, kramas... This market is probably the only one in Cambodia that remains open as long as there are customers.
