Facing the sea, on the edge of the longest swimming pool in the Middle East (103 metres), 800 m² of space divided into 13 suites and several saunas and hammams elegantly combine Asian and Oriental-inspired decoration. Among the wide range of treatments, holistic and Ayurvedic therapies are designed to restore harmony and vitality. Like an ancient Arabian fort in the middle of an Omani garden, secluded in its own cove well away from the hotel, the luxury spa of the city's most exclusive resort sits majestically. Reflecting the local traditional style, it beautifully complements the hotel and offers a similarly refined interior architecture - domed ceiling, elegant corridors and walkways, arched columns... Well integrated into its own mini-bay, the huge spa is spread over 3 levels that materialize 3 distinct zones: a space dedicated to women, another to men, and a private pool for ladies with a 500-meter long dedicated beach.

It is the only Spa by The Ritz Carlton in the country and its specificity is to offer treatments adapted to individual needs. Yoga and fitness classes are also offered on request to enhance the well-being of guests. The products used are 100% organic, mostly locally sourced, and based on natural ingredients and oils, except for the facials which are partly done with products from the luxury brand ESPA. No less than 17 treatment rooms make up this beautiful complex also equipped with several saunas, infrared saunas, ice fountains (for ladies only), hammam rooms (no less than 6 for traditional treatments with black soap, deep scrubs, aloe vera masks...). Also relaxation areas (separated: men on one side, women on the other) where you can sip natural fruit juice or ginger tea. A great place.

With its vast, bare landscapes, mountains and deserts, and its peaceful inhabitants, Oman is an ideal country for re-centering and recharging your batteries, and Philippe from Wellness Arabia understands this. A yoga and mindfulness meditation enthusiast himself, he began developing products in the 2000s. Today, on request, he offers individual or group courses in sound therapy, breathing, meditation or yoga. Philippe speaks English or French, and if he's not available, a highly professional English-speaking team works with him.

As intimate and exclusive as the palace that serves as its setting, this confidential spa offers a small menu of targeted treatments whose names refer to emblematic places in the sultanate. Its specialty is incense-based treatments(luban in Arabic), such as Wahiba Golden Sands, which combines oriental massage techniques with the therapeutic qualities of incense essential oil. Rocks of Al Jissah blends incense with organic herbs and products, which are wrapped in Omani fabric to form a "massage pouch". A real treat!

In natural beige tones, this cocooning spa, located on the second floor of the hotel, offers 5 individual treatment rooms and a large room for couples with private shower, hammam, sauna, whirlpool bath... The à la carte menu includes body massages such as the traditional deep-tissue massage or the hot stone massage, scrubs (we like the rose scrub), treatments for cellulite or muscle recovery, and more. Special mention should be made of facial treatments, including the signature hydrafacial for deep cleansing and moisturizing.

The secluded site of the Hotel Alila lends itself immediately to disconnection. Here, on a platform facing the immensity of the beach and sea, yoga and mediation classes are held. The spa also embraces the natural elements through a palette of personalized treatments that use pure, fresh and preferably local products and ingredients wherever possible. These include signature incense treatments, which have numerous healing and holistic properties. Also: facials, scrubs, reflexology... Hammam, whirlpool bath.

It was in Thailand, in 2001, that the first hotel of the Anantara group was born and immediately the brand distinguished itself by the quality of its spa and the treatments offered. Our favorite is the Hajar rose ritual, a moisturizing facial followed by an anti-stress massage with rose oil.

Plus: the hydro-vitality aquatic circuit (jet pools, hammam, sensory showers...).
