CAFÉ NO SÉ

" The Alternative café in La Antigua. Excellent Bohemian atmosphere. Some evenings of mezcal (strong alcohol produced from agave, such as tequila), there is a spirit of the Hemingway, where, mêle, gringos and chapines try to redo the world… Music in vivo every evening. Sunday is more quiet but famous for its brunches from until.

CAFE SKY

The ideal place to watch the sun go down. Due to the popularity of the place, it is better to anticipate and come at 4pm. Rather than a happy hour, Cafe Sky offers a happy day: every day, two drinks are served for the price of one. These include wine on Monday, tequila sunrise on Tuesday, free cuba on Wednesday, moscow mule on Thursday, margarita on Friday, mojito on Saturday and micheladas on Sunday. Plenty of options for eating, although one often settles for nachos or quesadillas to accompany one's drink.

LA SALA

Bar and caf €€

Halloween, New Year's Eve... La Sala is the place to party for the most important events of the calendar. But not only: the bar frequently organizes parties and invites bands and DJs throughout the year. Here, you can watch the shots fly by - often sold two for the price of one - and sway on the counter, near the beer taps, all to Latin rhythms accompanied by laser lights that create a colorful atmosphere, sometimes oscillating between red and blue. Nice terrace upstairs to start the evening.

This Korean establishment opened in 2012 and specializes in quality coffee. Its origin changes every week: it is produced in Chimaltenango as well as in Santa Catarina Palopó and San Juan la Laguna. Mint, coconut, dark, white: several alternatives exist for chocolate lovers. The same goes for tea drinkers, who will be offered flavors directly imported from Korea. All this to be drunk in a nice little room or to take away. The icing on the cake: the possibility of buying a bag of coffee, ground according to your preferences.
