Launched in 2017, BO Magazine (for Best-Of) is a free quality magazine listing good tips and recommendable addresses on the Samana peninsula. A slick design, relevant features, the first eight issues are already out. You will find copies in many shops and restaurants of the region. In English and Spanish. Listín Diario is one of the first and most important newspapers in the Dominican Republic (probably the most widely read in the country), but also the only one that remains of those founded in the 19th century. Born in 1889, the Listín maintained its neutrality for a long time, then showed its support for Cuban independence, was critical of the American occupation of the Dominican Republic, and opposed the Trujillo dictatorship. Its circulation is now the largest and its tendency is pro-government.

On the website of the Dominican Republic tourist office (in French) you will find all sorts of very useful information to make the most of the destination's assets. In addition to general information on the country, all the cities and zones of tourist interest are presented there (with video link) in a rather complete way and many councils of voyage are lavished there.
