This is the biggest and most famous market in Arequipa. Perfect to visit in the morning, for a fresh fruit juice prepared before your eyes at the minute. Mainly food, many farmers from the region come here to sell the products of their farms. Some craft stands and pretty scenes in this popular market whose structure was designed by Mr. Eiffel all the same, more than 135 years ago. It is worth the detour to stroll between the huge stalls of fruit and vegetables in bright colors!
