Al-Baba is a flagship brand of Lebanese pastry, created in 1943 by Mohammed Bachir EL Baba in Saida, in the south of the country. Today, the Al-Baba family still manages their pastry shops, and with seven stores throughout Lebanon, the success of their creations is no longer to be proven. Their shop in Koreytem welcomes their customers in an elegant atmosphere, where impressive pyramids of baklavas and kefne are displayed. Al-Baba also makes ice creams as well as good French pastries, such as very good macaroons.
