Many shops have a continuous day, from 10am to 10pm or even 11pm. Some close for a median break between 1pm and 5pm. The life of city entertainment begins around 8 pm; it is trendy to dine at midnight in trendy places. Bars and clubs begin to fill up well after midnight and usually the party goes on until dawn.
