Confetti is an institution in Sofia. A sort of trendy tea room where you can have a snack and a hot or cold drink. The ice creams and homemade cakes are inventive and delicious, offered in monumental presentations. To be confirmed without difficulty when you walk through the door of Confetti. Serene and warm atmosphere, except when the evening starts. Then it's time for good music and more alcoholic drinks. A hedonistic and very gourmet address, cosy and pleasant for a moment of refined relaxation.

This bar with an interior courtyard is very pleasant at the end of the day. Local and foreign beers are on the menu. But it also serves some dishes of the Bulgarian gastronomy, presented simply but quite tasty. This building built in 1937 and renovated in 2011 offers exceptional acoustics. The Bulgaria Hall is the home of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. The concerts are of a remarkable level and the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra performs here regularly. The box office is located at 1 Benkovski Street. Reservations can be made on the website, which also provides information about the program. Going to the concert is a great experience during your stay in Sofia.

In Cyrillic: Музикален център "Борис Христов". This cultural center is named after the Bulgarian opera singer Boris Hristov (1914-1993) and houses both the small museum dedicated to him and a stage for young talents, artists, musicians, singers. There is also a large concert hall. It is a great place to discover emerging artists. Always a good surprise when you are open to different musical styles.

Trendy and relaxed bar, a perfect place to come and relax. The jazz music and its retro-chic interior attract young yuppies from Sofia. You can have a drink there (count just 4 leva for a cocktail, with or without alcohol) as well as dinner (salads, soups, tartars, pasta, grilled meats...). In the summer, the garden is open, which gives even more charm to the place. For desserts, cheesecake, slice of chocolate cake, fruit mascarpone... you can easily give in to all this delicious choice. Good service.

This trendy bar offers both cocktails and snacks throughout the day. The decoration is all wood and mosaics on the walls. It's like being in a big chalet! You will have the opportunity to taste their fruit chia smoothies and puddings, drink coffee, tea or a more alcoholic drink, eat small sandwiches, share a board of cold cuts and/or small tapas, give in to the temptation of a sweet treat (chocolate cake, tiramisù...). There is also a chichas area for those who wish.

It is undoubtedly one of the best opera houses in Bulgaria! Not to be missed by the lovers of this genre during a stay of several days in Rousse as there is a show almost every day. The most beautiful opera voices take the stage, offering various styles according to the show created by international directors. The Rousse Philharmonic (founded in 1919) performs here regularly. There is also a ballet program.

In Bulgarian: Куклен Театър. This renowned theater, founded in 1952, offers a rich program and not only plays for children, but also satires, adaptations of classics into puppets. Highly recommended, even if you don't speak Bulgarian.

Puppet Museum: in the same building, discover the only museum dedicated to puppets in Bulgaria with over 140 puppets and sets. A jewel not to be missed and to be visited with your family.

Inaugurated in 1981 and served by a wide, long pedestrian thoroughfare, the National Palace of Culture, aka NDK (НДК), is a huge complex of massive architecture (300,000^m3 of concrete, 10,000 t of metal!), a landmark and rallying point for the city center. It is the largest conference and exhibition space in the Balkans. The NDK hosts numerous fairs and congresses. With about fifteen theaters, from 100 to 4,000 seats, it hosts many shows.
