VISIT VOSKOPOJA
Read moreThe Moscopole/Voskopoja information center is housed in a modern stone building with colorful walls, right at the entrance to the village, on the square where the minibuses to Korça depart and arrive. When it's open, you'll find information about visiting the churches, hiking and accommodation. But during our visits, we often found it closed. The team is mostly reactive on Instagram. Otherwise, the parish priest at Saint-Nicolas church (200 meters away) will also be able to help.

VALBONA TOURIST CENTER
Read moreIt's sad, but this is how financial aid from the European Union is sometimes used in Albania. This tourist office in the Valbona valley was created in 2019 as part of an EU integration program. Since then, the website has ceased to function and the pretty wooden chalet has been transformed into... a hotel (12 rooms, €50/140 for two, breakfast €7). Comfort and hospitality leave much to be desired. There's still a tourist information office here, but the staff are not at all competent.

VISIT ALBANIA
Read more"Visit Albania" is the current name of Albania's national tourism agency (Agjencia Kombëtare e Turizmit). It has an office right in the center of Tirana, but the staff are not very helpful. The website is rather rich in beautiful photos and travel suggestions, but without any real practical information and few updates. Since 2023, however, the agency has been offering the "TEA Tourism Events of Albania" smartphone application, with a calendar of the main cultural events throughout the country.
ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR
Read moreSituated at the foot of the panoramic tower on Boulevard Saint-Georges, this regional tourist office (Tourist Info Center) is primarily a souvenir store. But you'll find some information about the city and its surroundings (Moscopole, Ohid and Prespa lakes...). Alternatively, the Korça Free Walking Tour agency (facebook.com/KorcaFreeWalkingTour) offers a free guided tour of the city departing from the Old Bazaar every day at 10am and 6pm.

Read moreThis information center (Qendra e Informacionit të Parkut Kombëtar të Prespës) provides visitors with information on the national park: hiking trails, contact details for guides, information on excursion boats to Maligrad and on the owners of guest houses. In summer, an annex is open along SH 79, at the southern entrance to the national park, in the municipality of Lajthiza/Lajthizë. There is also a small tourist office in Pustec.

THETHI GUIDE
Read moreThis tourist information center in the Theth Valley is a relay for both the Alps of Albania National Park and the Peaks of the Balkans trail network. The website is rich in information (trails, accommodation, history, places to visit, list and contacts of mountain guides...). Alas, on site, the small office open during the summer months isn't much help. Further information is available from the owners of the gîtes, hotels and guesthouses in the Theth Valley.
