In this charming place with its flamboyant ochres, woods and earth, each historic room is personalized, but all have a view of the river while the new rooms, just as charming, have their own terrace. Special mention goes to the Banon room, which is beautifully furnished, the library of nearly 1,300 books, the exhibition on the history of Podor and the tribute to Oumar Ly, as well as the house's original jams (tomatoes, aubergines, etc.). The indoor garden, dotted with century-old trees that provide shade and freshness - essential when the thermometer is still at 35°C at 7pm - is a pleasant place to eat. It is possible to dine there, even if you do not stay at the hostel, but in this case it is imperative to book. Also remember to book for lunch, even if you stay at the hostel.
