The EU's digital Covid certificate is a tool that has been designed to make it easier for Europeans to travel within the Union. The 27 Member States and the European Commission have therefore been working on the development of a certification system for vaccines and tests, so that they can be verified easily and in the same way throughout Europe. Vaccination certificates and PCR and antigen test results are now available in a new format, with a QR code for those planning to travel. Please note that since 25 June, test and vaccination certificates are already in the European format. For those who have been vaccinated before this date, simply download the certificate in the correct format from the dedicated health insurance website. For TousAntiCovid users, it is possible to convert an acid certificate to the correct format directly in the application. The use of the European health certificate is official since July 1, 2021 and must be presented in case of control as well as to air, rail and sea companies. Also note that to travel to EU countries, the rules differ from one country to another, hence the need for information. For example,Iceland has abolished PCR tests for vaccinated or immunised travellers but retains these tests for non-vaccinated people. In the Netherlands, on the other hand, no specific measures apply to entry into the country. More information on theTourist Echo website
