Places of interest :
PATUXAI / THAT DAM / VAT THAT LUANG

Day 2: Luang Prabang

Steps: Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Muang Sing

This last option gives the opportunity to discover 3 Khmer sanctuaries located between Vientiane and Luang Prabang: Dan Souk, Vang Sang and Dane Pha (Buddha sculptures carved in stone). In Luang Prabang, visit of the Royal Palace (national museum), the Vat Xieng Thong, one of the most beautiful temples of the country with its frescoes and mosaics, then walk along the Mekong river or on the Mekong (by pirogue) to admire the sunset (magnificent viewpoint!). Dinner by the water.

Day 3: Surroundings of Luang Prabang

Steps: Vientiane, Luang Prabang

Escapade in the surroundings: visit the caves of Pak Ou by boat and the surrounding villages. The day continues to the Khuang Si waterfalls (agencies in the city center organize this excursion). Return at the end of the afternoon.
