Day 1: Lausanne

Steps: Lausanne

Going to discover the city centre. It should be noted that the centre is much more lively on Wednesdays and Saturdays, market days. Then climb to the old town, very charming with its small streets. Take the opportunity to visit the cathedral. Continue the day with a museum (depending on your interests): Musée des Beaux-Arts, Musée historique de Lausanne or Mudac.

Day 2: Lausanne - Pully

Steps: Lausanne

Discovery of the lower part of the city starting with the Musée de l'Élysée. Then go down to Ouchy and stroll along the quays to the Olympic Museum. Continue towards Pully, with a stop at Denantou Park where the Thai pavilion and the Haldimand Tower are located.

Day 3: In the heights of Lausanne

Steps: Lausanne

Climb to the heights of the city and visit the Hermitage or Art Brut museum. Continue the day with a stroll through the Sauvabelin park. Climb the 35-metre-high tower, which offers a 360° panorama. A stop at the Vivarium may be in order. In the evening, enjoy a drink in Flon, with its many bars and clubs to suit all tastes.

Day 4: Relaxation in Lausanne

Enjoy a relaxing day with Vidy's swimming pool, pedal boat or a picnic in the park next door. If it rains, there is always the option shopping!

Day 5: Vevey - Lavaux

In the morning, take a boat or train to Vevey. Visit the town and the Alimentarium or the Museum of Photography. Then take the vineyard train to Chexbres and discover Lavaux on foot. There are several hiking trails available (30 minutes to Saint-Saphorin, 2 hours to Cully). Don't forget to stop at a wine cellar for a wine tasting! Then take a train back to Lausanne from either of these villages.

Day 6: Montreux - Chillon

Visit of the old town of Montreux in the morning. Then choose the bus, the boat, the train or even its two feet (the flower path: about 45 minutes) for the castle of Chillon. If weather permits, a small beach invites you to bathing.

Day 7: Montreux - Rochers-de-Naye

Take the small rack train from Montreux to the Alpine garden of Rochers-de-Naye and admire the view across the Geneva basin. To go down, it is possible to take the well-signposted road that runs on the bottom of the Chauderon gorge. Take 1 hour for the descent (good walking shoes required).

Day 8: Lausanne - Preverenges

Steps: Lausanne

Take the metro to EPFL and visit the Rolex Learning Center, the Romanesque church of Saint-Sulpice. Continue towards Préverenges (on foot or by bus) where there is the Bird Island and a beautiful sandy beach. An introduction to wakeboarding is possible on site.

Day 9: Morges

Visit of the city, the castle, the Alexis Forel museum. Relax in one of the parks and enjoy the tulip festival in April-May. Not to be missed: a stroll on the lake aboard the Galère (only on weekends).

Day 10: Return to Lausanne

Steps: Lausanne

Complete the stay with a cruise on the Haut-Lac. After visiting the Riviera by mountains and by vaux, discover the boat! From Lausanne to the terraces of Lavaux, enjoy beautiful landscapes, quietly laid on a lounger for 3 hours.
