Detail of the stay : A weekend in Malta - 3 days
Day 1: Explore the capital Valletta and the surrounding area
Visit "Malta 5D" for a playful overview of the archipelago and visit St. John's Co-Cathedral. In the afternoon, take a ferry for a visit to the Three Cities across the harbor, a must-see. In the evening, a detour to Paceville, the restaurant and nightclub district of a href="#link3ss">St Julian's, may be well worth the detour (or on Saturdays). A stop at Balluta Bay will suffice if you're more interested in relaxing over a cocktail and enjoying the sea view.
Day 2: The center and south of the island
Visit Mdina-Rabat, including the old town and catacombs of the ancient capital, Mosta and its dome, and the gardens of San Anton. By bus, allow a full day. By car, a morning will suffice; in the afternoon, take the opportunity to head south to the wild coast. In the evening, head for the north coast for a romantic dinner in one of Valletta's fine restaurants.
Day 3: Farniente on northern beaches
Market stroll in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk (many fish restaurants). In the afternoon, head to the north coast to enjoy the beach. We recommend a href="#link2ss">Paradise Bay, Golden Bay and Għajn Tuffieħa (next door to each other) or the wild beaches of Armier.
