Day 1: Macao and its Portuguese specialties
Head for Macau, where we advise you to taste Macau and Portuguese specialties. In addition to the unmissable cod (bacalau), you can choose between a soup of cabbage and potatoes, cod croquettes, and the galinha africana (African chicken) based on coconut, garlic and peppers.
Day 2: Canton and its dim sum
Steps: Canton - Guangzhou
Absolute must in Canton, for its famous seafood and its dim sum. The brave will try the snake or the dog. Don't worry: Cantonese cuisine offers great surprises to the less adventurous!
Day 3: South China and the cuisine of minorities
Steps: Kunming
To end on a sweet note, continue your trip to Yunnan. The city of Kunming has excellent restaurants. If you want to taste local specialties, choose the "par-dessus-le-pont " noodles, the marinated chicken with herb, Yunnan ham and rubing (goat cheese).
The curious can only be charmed by the rich influences of local cuisine: Muslim, Tibetan, but also of all minorities.
