Nymphenburg, Amalienburg and Blutenburg. It's an opportunity to discover the traditional, rural Bavaria that is less and less found in city centers. Allow at least half a day for each castle.

Day 3: Munich and sport

Steps: Munich

Visit the Olympiastadion, which hosted the 1972 Summer Olympics, and climb the Olympiaturm, the most beautiful 360° view of Munich with the Alps in the background. This is followed by a visit to the Allianz-Arena stadium, home to the city's two professional football teams, and a stroll around the training grounds of Bayern Munich. If you're a keen sportsman, don't hesitate to take to the water with your surfboard (an official spot) or climb Europe's highest climbing wall (35 m) at the Olympic complex.

Steps: Munich

Or how to get around Munich effortlessly... or almost. This new way of getting around town has been gaining in popularity for a number of years now.
