Day 1: Visit of Tivat

Steps: Tivat

Arrival at Tivat airport. Visit of the city, swimming.

Day 2: Directorate Kotor

Steps: Herceg Novi

Herceg Novi, a small town located in the very beginning of Kotor Bay. Walk in its flowered alleys, discover the fortifications left in heritage by the various occupants of the city.

Day 3: Kotor's mouths

Steps: Perast, Dobrota

Discover the mouths of Kotor and the small coastal towns of Perast and Dobrota where palate and temples still bear witness to the spirit of adventure and the overseas success of its sailors.

Day 4: Kotor, medieval

Steps: Kotor

Kotor, one of the most preserved medieval towns in this part of the Mediterranean basin.

Day 5: Swimming in Budva

Steps: Budva, Rafailovići, Pržno, Sveti Stefan

Head for Budva, stop at Sveti Stefan, the old fishing village transformed into a top-of-the-range hotel island. In Budva, a stroll through the old town surrounded by ramparts. Lunch in a fish restaurant in Przno or Rafailovici and swimming.

Day 6: Bar, the fortified

Steps: Dobra Voda

Visit of the old fortified city, the largest archeological site of medieval origin in the country. Lunch in the paved street, late afternoon at the beach or at the swimming pool at the panoramic restaurant in Dobra Voda.

Day 7: Ulcinj and his immense beach

Steps: Ulcinj

Ulcinj, the most southern city of Montenegro. Visit of its old town, built on a rocky promontory and discovery of its picturesque fruit and vegetable market. Balade along the Velika Plaza, an immense 12 km long sandy beach. Meal at Ada Bojana, on the river estuary next to the bridge.

Day 8: Lake Skadar

Steps: Lac De Skadar, Virpazar

Discovery of Skadar Lake. Night in Virpazar or Podgorica.

Day 9: The Lovcen assault

Steps: Cetinje

Excursion to Mount Lovcen in the morning (mausoleum of the poet Njegos) and visit Cetinje in the afternoon (royal palace and museums). Meal at Konak, one of the best traditional restaurants in the country.

Day 10: The Canyon of Mrtvica

One day hike in the canyon of Mrtvica.

Day 11: Hiking and picnic

Steps: Mojkovac

Biogradska Gora National Park. Picnic by lake or hiking in park forests. Night in Mojkovac.

Day 12: Durmitor National Park

Steps: Parc National De Durmitor

Direction Zabljak and the Durmitor National Park, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1980.

Day 13: Hiking and rafting

Steps: Žabljak

Hikes in the park, idleness on the shores of Lac Noir or all-terrain vehicle expedition on the small circular road crossing the mountain range or rafting down the Tara canyon.

Day 14: Discovering monasteries

Steps: Morača

Back to Podgorica. Visit on the way to the monastery of Moraca, then to the monastery of Ostrog.
