Day 1: Hollywood Boulevard and Griffith Park

Steps: Los Angeles, Griffith Park

Start your stay by walking through the Hollywood Boulevard, passing in front of the three mythical cinemas created by Sid Grauman in the 1920s: the Griffith Park, not far from there, at the summit where an observatory is located. Day 2: Santa Monica and Venice Beach

Explore the coast beginning with Third Street Promenade where itinerant merchants and street artists perform their show in front of the shops. Continue with the mythical Santa Monica Pier, the terminus of the famous Route 66. Get down to the south and reach Venice Beach and its boardwalk where hippies, artists and souvenir sellers mix. A few metres away are the canals, between which you can stroll at you own pace.

Day 3: Grove and LACMA

Start the day at the Grove, this open-air Art Deco-style commercial complex, which looks like an Italian city with its large piazza in the middle of which a fountain is built. The is located at the Grove and consists of a wide variety of small restaurants and stands where you will surely find what you like for lunch. Then stroll through the Jewish quarter between Fairfax and La Brea and then finish your excursion with the .

Day 4: Downtown

Explore {1}Downtown{/1}. Stroll between the small Mexican shops of Olvera Street. Just 10 minutes away, enjoy some sushi in Little Tokyo before embarking on the Last Bookstore's literary maze, a bookstore where you literally can go under a book tunnel. Take a break to the Bottega Louie and do enjoy her delicious pastry. Finally, go back to the Sunset Strip to spend the evening. Do you feel like enjoying an original dinner? Choose Carney's, a restaurant located in a former train wagon and serving good hamburgers.

Day 6: Trip to Malibu

Book the day for a trip to Malibu. To get there, take the 101 Freeway, then go down Point Dume by the small roads to enjoy a spectacular sea view. After a few hours spent at Zuma Beach, dine at Duke's at the waterfront, and don't forget to taste their irresistible crunchy shrimp with coconut milk. For the return, walk along the ocean and enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the region.

Day 7: Beverly Hills

Last but not least... Beverly Hills. The most prestigious brands follow one another on Rodeo Drive, as well as the plastic surgery offices. The palm trees are high and lush. For those whose finances do not allow for anything more than a simple contemplation of the windows, rest assured, the Beverly Center is only fifteen minutes away. There are all sorts of shops selling clothes, electronics and toys, which can be useful for completing your purchases.
