Detail of the stay : Weekend in Hanoi - 2 days

Day 1: Discovering the Vietnamese capital

Time is short, so get an early start to your day. Start with a visit to the History Museum, followed by a stroll around Lake Hoàn Kiêm, the heart of the city with the Jade Mountain Temple. Take time to stroll through the 36 Guilds district to the venerable Long Biên Bridge, and sample the city's culinary specialties (egg coffee, beef pho, bun cha). In the evening, stroll around Lake Hoàn Kiêm and take the lively street that leads to the Opera House.

Day 2: Visit Hanoi's must-see sites

In the morning, visit the magnificent Temple of Literature, followed by the Museum of Ethnography, one of the most interesting in the country. Finally, discover the capital's dark history with a guided tour of Hoa Lu prison. In the afternoon, take the time to do a little shopping in the 36 Streets district, then in the former French Concession. Finish the day with a cold beer along the railroad at Train Street.
