Stay : The musts in Chicago

The capital of the Midwest has nothing to envy to the large cities on the east and west coasts. Rich culturally, it is rich in architectural attractions such as the Tower Hancock or Millennium park, or museums for the entire family such as the Adler Planetarium. Don't miss the north of Chicago and its colourful parks and residential districts.

There is nothing like climbing to the 94th floor of the Hancock Tower in the Gold Coast district to discover the city. Enjoy a splendid view of the downtown skyline and get a feel for the different neighborhoods. Walk on Michigan Avenue, called the "Magnificent Mile", with its superb buildings(Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, shopping malls...), then walk down to the Loop district for a stroll in the skyscraper forest. Different visits possible: Chicago Temple, Chicago Board of Trade, or a simple walking tour. Lunch at Atwood, a superb restaurant in the Burnham Hotel. In the afternoon, guided tour of the Loop and its architecture organized by the ArchiCenter, Chicago's leading architectural center. In the evening, walk and dinner in Millennium Park, Chicago's famous park, and its famous bean-shaped mirror by Anish Kapoor.

If you are among friends, discover the exciting Chicago and the four surrounding states: Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. If you still feel like discovering art work, you can also visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, next to Michigan Avenue, the opportunity to take a tour on the Mag Mile. In the evening, stay north of Chicago River and dine in the River North district.
