Day 1: A day at the Pyramids
Day trip to the Giza and Saqqara plateaus. 8am, Giza, Temple of Kephren, Sphinx, Pyramid of Kephren. 9.30am, Giza, Pyramid of Cheops, solar boat. 11h-12h, transfer. 12pm, Saqqara, Djoser pyramid and surrounding area. 1pm, Saqqarah, Ti mastaba, tombs of Mererouka and Ankhmahor, pyramid of Teti. 4pm, return to Cairo. 8pm, whirling dervishes in their theater in Islamic Cairo.
Day 2: Dachour and Meïdoum
Day trip to the Dachour and Meïdoum pyramids. 8am, red pyramid. 9.30am, rhomboid pyramid. 12pm, Meïdoum pyramid and adjoining mastaba. 2pm, return to Cairo via the palm grove road, Licht pyramid.
Day 3: Coptic Cairo
Steps: Le Caire
Museum day and Coptic Cairo. 8am, Egyptian Museum. 2pm, lunch in Al Foustat souk, Coptic quarter, Coptic Museum, hanging church. 9pm, Egyptian film in one of the cinemas on rue Emad Ed-Din or Talaat-Harb.

Day 4: Islamic Cairo Day
Steps: Le Caire
Islamic Cairo day. 8am, Gayer Anderson Museum, Ibn Touloun Mosque, El-Rifaï Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque. 2pm, fitir lunch at the Egyptian Pancakes Restaurant in Khan El-Khalili. 15h, Khan El-Khalili, Bab Zoueila, Dar Al-Asfar, Al-Mouayyed mosque, Beit El-Sehemi. 18h, tea and chicha at café El-Fishawi.

Day 5: The lighthouse lights...
Steps: Alexandrie
Day trip to Alexandria. 9am, departure by train from Ramses station. 12pm, arrival in Alexandria. Lunch at Mohammed Ahmed restaurant. 2:30pm, Kôm El-Chougafa catacombs. 4pm, Roman odeon and thermal baths. 6pm, stroll through the Turkish city, the Art Nouveau and Art Deco building districts. 7pm, chicha in front of the old port and the Qaïtbay citadel. 8pm, fish dinner in one of the restaurants overlooking the sea.
Day 6: Alexandria, the heart of Egyptian history
Steps: Alexandrie, Louxor
A day in Alexandria. Breakfast in one of Alexandria's many cafés. 10am, visit to the National Museum. 12pm, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, lunch on site. 3pm, train to Cairo before night flight to Luxor.

Day 7: In the land of Memnon's colossi
Steps: Gourna - Thèbes Ouest, Louxor
Day trip to Luxor West Bank. 8am, after bike rental, Colossi of Memnon. 9am, Ramesseum. 10:30am, Temple of Ramses III. 12pm, Valley of the Artisans. 1pm, Valley of the Queens. 2.30pm, lunch in front of the Temple of Ramses III. 5pm, felucca trip to Banana Island.
Day 8: Heading for the Valley of the Kings
Steps: Louxor, Gourna - Thèbes Ouest, Vallée Des Rois
Day trip to Luxor West Bank. 8am, Valley of the Nobles. 10:30 am, Temple ofHatshepsut. 12:30 pm, Valley of the Kings by the mountain. 8pm, sound and light show at Karnak temple.
Day 9: Karnak Temple and Museum
Steps: Louxor
Day trip to East Luxor. 8am, Karnak temple. 2pm, Luxor temple. 7pm, Luxor museum. 9pm, spice souk.
Day 10: Direction Aswan
Day trip from Luxor to Aswan. 6am, departure. 9am, visit toEdfu temple. 11am, visit to Kôm Ombo temple. 1pm, arrival in Aswan.
Day 11: Fellucca cruise
Steps: Assouan, Île Kitchener, Philae, Île Éléphantine
Day in Aswan. 9am, departure of the fellucca. 9:30am, visit of the monastery Saint-Siméon. 11am, visit to Kitchener Island. 12pm, climb to the first cataract. 2pm, visit of the Eléphantine Island. 3pm, lunch at Beit El-Nubi. 4pm, Nubian Museum. 6pm, tea on the Old Cataract terrace. 9pm, sound and light at the Philae temple.
