Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, nicknamed the "Switzerland of Africa

Arrival in the evening and accommodation in Kigali.

Day 2: Akagera National Park, the refuge for wild animals

Steps: Parc National De L'Akagera

Visit of Akagera Park and its wildlife. Two nights' accommodation in the park (Akagera Game Lodge or the new tent camp)

Day 3: Visit to Ubisoft Amusement Park

Far from Rwanda's typical green hills, Ubisoft Park is an African savane park. Giraffes, zebras, antelopes, live here in harmony with nature. The lucky ones can see a leopard or even a lion. 

Day 4: Visit to Ubisoft Amusement Park

A boat trip on Ihema Lake. Return to Kigali in the afternoon, night in Kigali.

Day 5: Lake Kivu, small paradise in Rwanda

Steps: Gisenyi Rubavu, Kibuye Karongi

Direction direction (Kibuye). Excursion to the islands. Night in Karongi, on the edge of the lake. Lake Kivu, surrounded by mountains and hills, with its sparse islands, its clear waters, its banks punctuated by villages, its incredible lights at sunset... is superbly peaceful and restful. 

Day 6: By boat on Lake Kivu

Steps: Gisenyi Rubavu

By boat to Rubavu (Gisenyi), visit this seaside town. Night in Rubavu.

Day 7: Relaxing on the shores of Lake Kivu

Steps: Gisenyi Rubavu, Ruhengeri Musanze

Relax on the shores of Lake Kivu. We bathe there safely and safely. There is no hippo in Lake Kivu or crocodile and the waters are very clean. In the evening, road to Musanze (Ruhengeri). Night in Musanze.

Day 8: To meet the last mountain gorillas

After the morning breakfast, departure to the park for visiting the gorillas. Strong emotions, when in a dense vegetation, you will notice in its natural environment, the world's greatest primate! Unforgettable. Rest in the afternoon and lodging in one of the lodges.

Day 9: Bulera and Ruhondo Lakes at the foot of the Muhavura volcano

Steps: Gikongoro Nyamagabe, Butare Huye

In the morning, Tour and Ruhondo lakes. In the afternoon, descent to Huye, Butare. After lunch at Huye, visit the Mémorial memorial, then departure direction Nyungwe for the night in guest house, camping or hotel.

Day 10: Primaire Primary forest, primate kingdom

Two full days of exploration of the Nyungwe forest, the discovery of colobes and other primates (13 species of monkeys, of which chimpanzees are identified), birds, flora and amazing flora. 

Day 11: Hiking in the Nyungwe forest

With its incredible biodiversity, whether you are a lover of fauna and flora, or simply because nature in its raw state offers fascinating atmospheres, the Nyungwe forest is worth a visit. A suspension bridge allows you to walk over the canopy. Be accompanied by a guide (mandatory).

Day 12: Visit of a tea factory and the Ethnographic Museum in Butare

Steps: Butare Huye

The tea plantations in Rwanda offer stunning scenery. Visit of a tea factory. You'll be able to enjoy well-known and exceptional teas. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnographic Museum, one of the most important in Africa. Return to Kigali.

Day 13: Nyamata and Ntarama: Understanding genocide

Steps: Nyamata

Rwanda is also a painful story. Genocide is an integral part of the country's history. Nyamata and Ntarama are the two inescapable memorials to understand the scale of the tragedy.

Day 14: Return to Kigali, last visit

Steps: Kigali

In Kigali, visit the memorial of Gisozi and the house of former President Habyarimana, next to which the wreck of his plane is still located. Evening in Kigali.
