Day 1: Arrival in Amman

Day 2: Excursion to Jerash
Steps: As-Salt
This superb ancient city is located 50 km north of Amman. You can add Ajlun Castle if you have your vehicle, picnic and short hike in the nature reserve or hook up by Salt in the late afternoon. Night in Amman.
Day 3: The Jordan Valley
Excursion to the Jordan Valley and the ancient towns of Gadara (Umm Qais), Pella and Abila. Night in Amman or Irbid.
Day 4: Oasis of Azraq
Excursion east of Amman to discover the desert castles and the oasis of Azraq. Night in Amman.
Day 5: On the shores of the Dead Sea
Steps: Bethanie, Madaba, Mont Nebo
Excursion and day trip to the Dead Sea (50 km) while visiting Bethany, the site of Christ's baptism, Mount Nebo. Swimming and mud bath. Overnight in Amman, on the shore of the Dead Sea, or in Madaba.
Day 6: Small tour around Madaba

Day 8: Step to Shobak
This step is possible if you have taken care to rent a vehicle.
Day 9: Petra, Jordanian jewel
Steps: Petra
Visit of the main sites of the city carved in pink rock. Petra is the jewel of Jordan. Second day, hikes on heights and Little Petra.
Day 10: Under the stars of Wadi Rum
Hiking on foot or horseback in the desert, night in bivouac under the stars.
Day 11: On the shores of the Black Sea in Aqaba
Relaxation, idleness and diving or snorkelling in the coral reefs.
Day 12: Return to the Capital
Return to Amman via the beautiful Wadi Araba road (desert and Dead Sea). Stop at the Palestine/Jordan border at Allenby Bridge. Leave your car and take a minibus to Jericho.
Day 13: Last step in Jericho
Visit of Jericho (Palais palace, monastery of temptation and Tell Jericho). Return to the border and then Amman.
