Day 1: Soča Valley

Steps: Kobarid, Kranjska Gora, Soča, Bovec, Nova Gorica

From Nova Gorica, the natural entry point to Slovenia from Italy, we drive along the turquoise waters of the Soča River to Kobarid. Visit the museum dedicated to the bloody battle of the Soča during the First World War, known as the Battle of Caporetto. A gastronomic break is in order in Bovec where the excellent Soča trout will be on the menu. You will then reach Kranjska Gora via the Vršič Pass. Day 2: Bled and Bohinj

Steps: Bled, Bohinj

Before leaving for Bled, visit the Planica ski jumps (the highest ski jumps in the world). In Bled, lovers of postcard landscapes will be served! The lake and its castle, the island and its church, with the peaks of the Julian Alps in the background, everything is there! Direction Bohinj where the atmosphere is wilder. The clear waters of the lake reflect the majestic Triglav, the highest peak of the country.

Day 3: Skofja Loka

In the early morning, a short hike on the aerial wooden footbridges in the steep gorges of Vintgar and Radovlica. In the afternoon, discovery of the historical city of Skofja Loka

Day 4: Ljubljana

Steps: Ljubljana

Finally, taste the charms of Ljubljana the beloved capital of the capital. Discovery of its Baroque historical centre and its picturesque and daily market; visiting one of the countless museums or churches; Walk along the Ljubljanica by stopping to enjoy a café on the terrace. Day 5: Postojna

Direction to the medieval village of Stanjel, probably the most typical and beautiful of the whole Karst. Continuation of the day in the stud farms of Lipicca. This is where the famous white Lipizzaner horses of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna are bred.

Day 7: Piran and Istria

Steps: Piran

End of the Slovenian break in the small town of Piran. A chance walk in the typical Mediterranean streets; visit the countless churches of Venetian architecture or rest on the rocks bordering the sea.
