Day 5: Hiking in Nature
Steps: Furnas, Nordeste, Salto Do Cavalo, Pico Da Vara
The north coast to Nordeste. Stop at the Salto do Cavalo, a fantastic lookout on the Furnas valley. Walk, if possible, to Pico da Vara. Sleep in Nordeste.
Day 6: Parade of beautiful landscapes
Steps: Furnas, Povoação, Serra Da Tronqueira
The east coast and its beautiful watchtowers. Pico Bartolomeu Belvedere. The Serra da Tronqueira route. Discover Povoação, place of the first settlement on the island. Sleep in Furnas or Povoação.
Day 7: Relax on the beach or last hike
Steps: Ponta Delgada, Lagoa, Ribeira Quente
Beach in Ribeira Quente or visit the Lombadas Valley; beautiful hiking in this beautiful and wild corner. Return to Ponta Delgada by Lagoa and visit the ceramic factory.
