Day 1: Culture in all its forms

Steps: Lille, Villeneuve-D'Ascq, Roubaix

Enjoy Lille and its many wonders on foot. After having a coffee at Méo on the Grand Place of Lille, head to the Old Lille to admire its many typical facades, the Treille cathedral and the many shopping streets. Then head for the train station and the Tri Postal which was once used to sort mail. Today, it is a very popular exhibition place for the inhabitants of Lille, appreciated for its dynamic and modern cultural program. There is always something to see at the "Tripo"! In the afternoon, head for Roubaix by streetcar or metro to Roubaix Grand Place / Roubaix Eurotéléport. Visit the beautiful La Piscine museum, a former swimming pool that has been rehabilitated, and its sensory path. Also worth seeing: the LAM museum or the one at La Condition Publique. By following the "blue thread" or "brick thread" with the Roubaix application, you can learn more about the history of the city and admire many street art works.

Day 2: Between nature and street art

Steps: Lille, Arras, Moulins, Saint-Quentin

Head for the Jean-Baptiste Lebas park and the Saint-Sauveur train station, a former train station that has been rehabilitated with many free exhibitions and shared gardens... After your visit, take a break at the Saint-Sauveur bistro, a particularly pleasant place to have lunch. Then head towards the Moulins and Wazemmes districts by following the street art circuit of the city of Lille. Take the opportunity to finish the day in the green by visiting the Citadelle Vauban and its park, very popular with walkers, and why not its zoo.
