Day 3: Napoleon Year, visit to La Roche-sur-Yon

Steps: Fontenay-Le-Comte, La Roche-Sur-Yon

Imperial city, La Roche-sur-Yon owes its current face to the Emperor, who decided that the city, in view of its geographical situation, had every reason to be the Prefecture of the department, and this at the expense of Fontenay-le-Comte. Go and see the Animals of the Place Napoléon, creations as original as surprising imagined by François Delarozière (Machines de l'île in Nantes). You can then go for a bike ride along the Yon river and discover the Yon valley. But on an electric bike with connected handlebars please! To finish the day, a visit of the Haras de la Vendée ?
