A small section for a big breath of fresh air with a towpath, 87 kilometers, locks, a canal bridge, villages and a Rembrandt, take your breath..., here we go! The greenway that makes up the Lot-et-Garonne section of the Canal des Deux-Mers was built on an old towpath that corresponded to the roads along the waterways where boats moved forward by force of arms or horses.
From Meilhan-sur-Garonne, start by stopping and admiring the view then you will reach the surroundings of Marmande-la-Jolie which bears its name well.
