Detail of the stay : Stroll on the Canal de Bourgogne - 3 days
Day 1: Day 1
Steps: Semur-En-Auxois
From the Armançon valley, you will reach the Côte d'Or via Rougemont, Semur-en-Auxois, Fontenay and its abbey. All these beautiful stops are a must to start your journey.
Day 2: Day 2
Steps: Montbard, Pouilly-En-Auxois
You are now in Montbard where you will visit the Buffon Museum and Park dedicated to the famous naturalist. The canal will then cross the Brenne, and you will reach Pouilly-en-Auxois and its 3.3 km long tunnel. This is where the watershed is located, hence the construction of this tunnel in which traffic is alternated (due to its narrowness). In a course strewn with locks, you will continue your journey by discovering little by little the landscapes of the valley of Ouche, of Pont d' Ouche which precedes a wooded area until Fleury-sur-Ouche.
Day 3: Day 3
Steps: Dijon, Longvic, Saint-Jean-De-Losne
You will be only a few miles away from Dijon. To get there, you will drive along the motorway, then the famous Lake Kir. As you leave, you will approach the Dijon-Longvic airport before joining the Saône valley in an almost straight line for about thirty kilometres. Then Saint-Jean-de-Losne will appear to you, point of arrival of this very beautiful channel which joins the Saône here.
