Day 1: The emotion of Pech Merle

Take a leap in time! Head for Cabrerets to the site of the Centre de Préhistoire et Grotte du Pech Merle. After the visit of the decorated cave, the center of Prehistory will complete this journey in time. The cave is a site preserved for thousands of years. It presents authentic masterpieces of prehistoric art. On the walls of the cave, one can admire horses, mammoths, bisons, aurochs, bears, etc. In total, more than 70 animals are represented.

Day 2: The small train of the caves of Lacave

Go for a very special train trip! The Lacave train plunges you into the bowels of the Earth for an unforgettable one and a half hour visit. A visual and sound show towards the hall of wonders, the highlight of the visit. Plunged into a near darkness where ultraviolet rays make the concretions in formation phosphorescent, you will witness the striking beauty of an underground nature unsuspected from the surface.
Day 3: The vertigo of Padirac

You can't plan a caving trip in the Lot without scheduling a visit to the Gouffre de Padirac. The site attracts more and more visitors every year. It must be said that this chasm is impressive! The hole is 35 meters in diameter and the chasm plunges 75 meters from the surface of the causse. Here, at a depth of 103 meters, a river flows and we discover with fascination a network of galleries of more than 40 km! The small pleasure in addition to Padirac is the boats which await you for a small cruise on the underground river.
